They are both the same plug with 2-3 miles on it
I've read somewhere using this cylinder to use a 9 with standard ign or 10 with a quality ignition system. I think the MVT DD would be a quality system .

It's not to bad. There is a flat spot right in front of the gas fill that I sit on. I know I'll be taking the seat off a few more times so I didn't put it back on yet.

youtu.be/UwSKSFs5Wk8Getting closer on the tune. Mental note - don't attempt to turn when the front wheel isn't on the ground.

First "test drive" you sound rich coming off the idle jet, before the clutch engages (too soon to me, but that's a personal thing). It only sounds a tad bit rich so maybe a/f screw? Needle position?. I also notice at around 2:30 when you're pulling away from a stop she stumbles for a second then the pipe hits. I'm thinking clutch grabbing too soon or too heavy weights? Other than that, that motor is sounding SWEET! I'm loving it for sure

I'm loving it for sure I lowered the weights for the second vid, my clutch is grabbing too soon I have some red, blue and black springs I should have tomorrow to help with the bottom end. Now I'm at 42/112 middle notch. It still has the "gargle" at part throttle, but I'd rather be a little rich then a little lean.

Alittle update I replaced the clutch springs with the malossi blue and it's set to about 8100, lowered the weight to about 4.1 put the red spring back in and it now rips! I haven't maxed it out yet but it will go deep into the 60's with more variator left. I've got Avon AM63 tires on their way to get rid of the front end wobble. My temps are still low but that's fine with me. Do I need a longer belt to get it to the outside of the rear pulley. Front is all the way down to the drive boss. Any more spacing on the variator and it slips on the variator. I figured out my richness, it's my needle taper. This carb was for a kx100 which has a rich needle compared to the kx85 that I usually get. I'll have to order some needles but it still runs great!

That's about how mine sits and it could use up the variator pretty well. You prob could use a longer belt, but you don't need to rush out and get one to have good performance.

If I could find a bando replacement I would go for it but if a malossi Kevlar is my only option I'll wait till it wears a bit.

It doesn't look like you'd have to do anything to the cases to run an overrange. Nice
