@brent You do alot of vid editing, you aught to look into a ssd or few of them in raid. I use one as the system drive to run the OS and apps, but the price is a bit too steep for me to use a bunch of them. I wouldn't mind switching over to one large HDD instead of 2 and then using a SSD as my 3rd for temp storage while editing. Again, just money I don't wanna spend for something that works ATM. I am planning on a new HDD drive within the next year though, mostly because mine are old, one is a drive that would no longer work as a system drive but has been fine as an extra storage space, and I really could use something larger.

The nice thing about SSD is they fail readable, where a lot of HDD fail unreadable.

The nice thing about SSD is they fail readable, where a lot of HDD fail unreadable. Ssd's are now so much better than when they first came out. You can go order a hdd and still have a large chance it might be doa. Same with any pc component. I've got a ssd that I still use that is about 4 years old and has about 8 years life left. I will take a screebshot, pretty cool how reliable they have become. Actually percentage is higher by catching a doa vs failure rate.

Found this 05 Tahoe Z71 to replace the 02 Tahoe that my wife totaled last week. Paying a little more than I would have liked to, but it is a cream puff. Just waiting for the bank to cut the check.

I picked up a short hydraulic Ram from Horrible Freight today. www.harborfreight.com/10-ton-hydraulic-short-body-ram-95979.htmlIt should help straighten my scoot frame where someone bent it. It needs a pressure source so this was added to my purchase: www.harborfreight.com/4-ton-heavy-duty-portable-hydraulic-equipment-kit-62115.htmlI have all kinds of tools to pull and squeeze things. I considered buying one of these tools for years but somehow made do without. I have used all kinds of jacks and rigging to do what this ram kit does easily for years. I guess it was time. If I had purchased it years ago when I needed it the first time it would have been less than half the price. Our government says we have not had any inflation though. I did not get the extended warranty since there really isn't much to go wrong that can't be repaired. I will have to run it up to full pressure for a test though B4 the limited warranty runs out. EDIT: BTW I did get a 20% off coupon on it also. The short ram was: $40 The porta-power kit was: $104 I got a 1/4" electric die grinder www.harborfreight.com/electric-die-grinder-with-long-shaft-44141.html To do porting better than my old Dremel tool for: $30 I picked up an engraver #46099 for $8 to mark parts and equipment. I need to pick up an O-A torch kit to replace the one that was stolen from me. It is the only way I can weld anymore. I have been waiting 9 months for the courts to do anything about the theft. I guess I will have to just buy the equipment and kick someone's door down to collect. I need the torch to reinforce my scoot frame where it was bent. I have other projects waiting for the torch also.

Another scooter ambulance! Very nice looking.
My '03 Chevy Venture 'ambulance' has dings on every corner and panel. My sister drove it for years... My fix for the rear lights didn't last. I feel kind of stupid for even trying to fix a problem that GM engineers with millions of dollars worth of resources and tooling could not get right in the first place. Even the China copies of the OEM part did not fix the problem. It seems so simple, a tail light bulb contact that actually works, but GM or China can't even get that to work right. What hope is there for scooters?
I wish I could have bought the ram for the 'OLD' price but I had to pay the full advertised price even with an Inside Track Club membership. They used to have good deals in that ITC monthly ad but not anymore.

Just got a Nexus 10 tonight off Craigslist for a buck twenty five. I hated going on the site with my phone so I got this for when my kids are using the TV/computer. As big as it is, it's still small for my blind self
