Strategically not-such-a-significant purchase... Ya know, I'm actually not sure if my wife realizes I do V-day one week early every year cuz this same bouquet would have cost me well over $100 next week! Friggin' price-gouging v-day really tees me off. Such a romantic, eh? Pfff. 37 bucks, woo hoo.  More money for scooter parts. Clever  |

I decided that as much as I liked my creepy white Ford Transit it was time to move on. I bought it to turn into a camper and in 2 1/2 years I made no progress. I also realized it was to cramped for anything more than a weekend. I also decided that I was ready to start dating and that driving a van with no windows was a great way to pick up women. I didn't think that was a good idea on many levels. I would get looks when I would take my house mate to see her kids at school, not good looks. So it was time to look for better, less creepy, transportation. I wanted a Ford because I really liked the van, no judgement on other vehicles. I went back to the same salesman who treated me right the last time. Of course he asked why I was trading in the van, I told him the story and he laughed. I wanted a truck and wanted a back seat. I looked at the F-150 extended cab but they had no used ones. But they did have a very nice 2014 F-150 FX2 on the lot. The salesman said he sold it to the last owner and took it back in trade. It has 57,000 miles on it and barely any wear. I decided that I don't need 4 wheel drive here and didn't want the extra height, my dog has a hard enough time with this one. It is fully loaded, reading through the manual there isn't any section to skip. I had also been thinking that a trailer might be a better way to go and this will handle that, it has built in trailer brakes. The trailer has head room and a bathroom. It may be a year or 2 away but I'm looking now for a nice used (cheap) one. Here is my only picture so far:  |

Thank you. I wasn't drawn to the color but now that I have it I love it. I forgot to mention it has the 3.5 V6 Eco-Boost engine, it has some power. Almost feels like a 2 stroke.
