That is a momentary switch (brake light switch). You can get them (usually) at a local motorcycle shop, or if you have patience then you can order online. But both of your brake handles have them and each of them will send power to the brake light. You can use either handle. Though you should definitely replace the switch sooner or later.

I'm sure there is but I have to look for you later. Or start another thread clearly stating your problem and someone else will probably answer much faster then I will.

If possible, ditch the petcock for a manual fuel shutoff.

Hey guys so today my aim was to get fuel from the fuel tank into the carb and i did it yaay , what it was the petcock diaphram was stuck. so cut the bottem vacuum bit off and now the diaphram is now free so i now have a free flowing fuel petcock , the bike started right up and now has no problem turning over , the next big job which won't be until next week when i get paid will be a new vairator, clutch, belt and a good clean out of the cvt case

s im back i ordord a tool today to hold the vairator pully plate and that didn't work , sigh so i had to remove the water pump which was leaking and fit the tool onto that in the end to remove the nut from the vairator , so now all that is removed, i don't think this bike has ever had a belt change so here are some pics from today , also the tool i used was very cheap and is a oil filter wrench it works wonders saves me buying an impact wrech but i will buy some loctite to put the nut back on with . i now have to order a new vairator kit also i wanna ask whats the best way of cleaning the inside of the cvt cover ?

i usually use diesel fuel or petrol to clean parts. It's cheap and gets everything clean!

That center thing is called the drive boss. You do need one that both fits the inside of the bushing and over the crankshaft fairly snug but allowing free rotation. The kit you got may have been intended for a smaller crankshaft since the Minarelli engines have 2 sizes. There may be a boss for it or that one may be able to be modified in a lathe or similar sort of process, provided enough metal is left when it's finished to be safe.

I used a dremel tool to hone out a drive boss once.!!! (It was for a 13mm crank and mine was the 16mm crank at the time)I got it really close but not perfect but it would get you going for a while anyhow... Just my 2ct
