Sometimes they are a bit picky with spacing so if I have any issues I'll usually take it apart and move washers around till it works. Here's a diagram, but none of mine have ever had the wave washer.

hey guys i rememberd before that when i first took this thing apart 3 metal things fell out of the sprag clutch when i first took everything off to change the variator. so im guessing that was the sprag barings. so i have orderd a new sprag clutch from scooter works great place that should be here in a day or so. i just hope that fixes the problem.

okay so scooter works pretty nice now , and very happy i was putting it back together tonight and i plugged in the headlight , so i thought lets check to see if they work, but when i turn the key, the dash now lights up once the headlight is plugged in but side lights nor headlight bulbs work so im thinking its eaither a bad fuse or someone has messed with the wiring at some point or something else. im not the best at electrical i hope someone can give me some insight as to what it could be, i have cleaned the contacts on the switch end, also the bulb end, what im gonna do tommrow is see if i can buy a screwdriver which will light up if current is running to the bulb

hey i figred out today the bike woulden't have its lights turned on without it running lol XD. so i got the bike running today very happy . only problem is the batt was fully charged but when i turned it off the starter motor don't seem to have enough umph to get it started and the kick start is super hard. but i know now this bike is pretty good im gonna order a new starter motor. also the bike still leaks water so gonna have to take a look at that. but for the time being i have been stripping down a new pegout treckker 100cc i picked up. but thats for another thread. one of the bikes im keeping not sure if to keep the yamaha mbk nitro or the treckker 100cc
