That's the same led light bar I'm interested in getting. Can I ask how you wired it in? Or where? I haven't wired it as yet, want to figure out exactly where I'm going to mount it first. I plan to wire it into the AC lighting circuit, I've got a bridge rectifier here to convert the AC to DC. I'm likely going to tap it into the factory high beam power but on its own switch, that way it can only be turned on when high beam is on. Just took the scoot for a good run before pulling the 50cc engine out, did a GPS speed run while I was at it 86k/54mph, there's still a couple k left in it too, but I ran out of road! Going to go pull it to bits now.

Pic heavy post ahead! Didn't end up trying another top speed GPS run. Stopped at home and found a package in the mailbox, CHT thermocouple has arrived, would be better if I had a working display though haha Anyway, got back to my workshop and hung the ass of the scoot in the air Dropped the motor out and pulled all the CVT parts off New contra spring fitted. CVT all fitted Loom sorted, but think I'm going to change the factory Let's plugs to weather sealed like the AZ had. The carb cover/mudguard was pretty haggard, and rubbed on the tyre all the time Didn't really want to try to refit that! So I chopped it down Think I'm going to try to extend it a bit though, just to protect the carb a bit more Engine back in already! Would love to ditch that crappy rear shock!! I've got a decent AN125 one here, but as I think I've said before it's just too long for this thing Thinking of ordering something like this when I've got some more $$ www.aliexpress.com/item/Net-shock-absorption-device-motorcycle-refit-shock-absorption-device-after-shock-absorption-jog-scooter-shock-absorption/1694216570.htmlHad to order in a spark plug for it which should be here in the morning, so all going well I'll be able to fire it up in the morning! Just working out what jet and needle to put in the carb before I fit it. Also the oil pump was working fine on the old engine, but at cranking speed I can't seem to get anything out of it on this one? Does it need to be spinning faster or is there more to it?? I opened the bleed screw on the top of the pump and there is oil there, but nothing coming out when I crank it on the starter.

On the Yamaha pumps I will attach a drill to them to test them, and whatever speed the drill turns at there is just like a drop..drop...drop..drop...drop
Spinning off the crankshaft at starter speed I doubt you will see anything.

Went and picked up the spark plug I'd ordered in, changed the throttle cable, ran the CHT thermocouple wire while I was at it. Thermocouple makes it a pain to change plugs! Then I fitted up the PHVA, added about 40ml 2t oil to the fuel so there's a bit of extra oil for the first while, then went to start it only to find I'd flattened the battery last night trying to prime the oil pump. Hooked up my leads to the FIL's ride on mower and... Need to change the starter bendix, I've got one that rattles a bit but engages every time and this one. Test ride soon!!

Sure did Going to go raise the idle, try to set the air screw, fit the seat and tail light then test ride! I can't get over the sound difference too.

Ended up not working on it at all today, had a fun day out with my son. Going to get stuck into it tomorrow though, have got a couple ideas to try to sort out the air box attachment first off, I think the rubber tube splitting wide open was the final straw leading to the soft seize. I may not need it, but my next racing planet order is going to include a .4 oversized piston to have ready to go. Also considering Top Racing gears www.racing-planet.de/primary-transmission-gear-up-kit-top-racing-11-16-49-for-aprilia-suzuki-1999-p-100902-1.html?sessID=7ee37580eca60aaa285677aa03ba7df5#.VtES5dCIXhUJust not sure if I want to trade acceleration for top end that I don't really need... Ooh and I forgot to mention yesterday, after raising the needle and changing to the 100mj I rode it up and down the driveway a couple of times and it would wheelie on demand even at only 1/2 throttle

And I know I've mentioned doing the odd wheelie in this thread before, but this was much different! Before it was a case of the front coming a few inches off the ground for a bit when giving it death kind of wheelies. This was more like "oh crap I'm about to fall off the back" kind of wheelies as the front wheel headed skywards very quickly!! Don't think the clutch engagement needs to go much higher now haha.

Is your scoot comparable in size to like a Yamaha Jog?

From what I can find online it's a little bit shorter wheelbase than a CV50 Jog and very similar dry weight
Let's II CV50 Jog Dry Weight: 67kg 69kg Wheelbase: 1140mm 1190mm Overall Length: 1670mm 1670mm Width: 605mm 640mm Seat Height: 685mm 710mm
My AN125 forks might increase the weight and wheelbase a tad too.

I bet that's a nice little wheelie machine then.

Is your scoot comparable in size to like a Yamaha Jog? Yes it is. Honda Dio, Suzuki ZZ or Let's series and Yamaha Jogs, they are all more or less the same size and weight.
