I'll be working on it again Monday, which is when the new tail light assembly is supposed to be here. Still trying to find a damn seat hinge for it as well. Other than that, it's done. I also need to get a new carburetor so that I can install that top end that I got from you, but that'll be a few weeks away at least because my son is here on leave for the holidays. Oh, gonna slap my old mkii clutch on it and hopefully get it to hook up better since I can't get it to do wheelies with the stock clutch and bell.

Here's a few more updated pictures that I took the other day: Paint is polished and the lights installed. I've spent so much time looking for the seat hinge that I sorta spaced getting the access panel Hopefully one of our member might of found the seat hinge for me at a cycle junk yard. I sure hope so because they are incredibly hard to find! Instruments installed. The speedo is even somewhat accurate The belly pan and floor board looked so bad that I thought I'd have to replace them. The Meguiar's Ultimate Black did such a good job that I'll keep them. I left a little to show what they used to look like.

I saw a set of wheels done with stickers and it was way freaking cool! I've seen the body work done also. People can be so damn creative!

My stock prebug clutch and bell hook crazy good. Like I mean as good, or better then any of the aftermarket stuff I've tried. I barley touch the throttle, and it's front wheel in the air time.

It takes off remarkably quick, but I do feel the clutch slipping. I wonder though if I were sitting on the seat, not on the tank, that I'd be a little further back and that would help? I just don't know right now, but I'll let ya know sometime around Monday.

Pre-bugs are sick. You make me want to buy one. I wish I could find one... They are a bit hard to find and usually expensive. This one was a basket case and needed a lot of work, but it only cost 200 for the scoot and about another 200 for the parts that it needed so it was definitely worth it. I also really enjoyed putting it back together.
