I have heard that some dog,s hate fireworks,a mate of mine puts just a tiny amount of weed oil on a treat it calms his dog and seems to have no lasting effect, but he,s not a vet and this is just gossip.

if you look close , you can see I picked up a hitchhiker - on the mirror homeowner at work has 4 pugs- lunch break- they're my buddies- update on kittens - alive and well. now when I open the glass sliding door they come running - it's all I can do to keep them on the porch-they're eating up the solid food . now the male is a little larger- pretty sure he was born 8-12 hours sooner but they both seem real healthy- fighting cougars

Today I have been help son move and partner to new house here are his pets. Midnight the black cat he found miowing in a hedge at midnight covered in excrement while walking back from work in the Chinese on the main road, very tiny less than 6 week old and nursed it back to health. Then acquired another stray cat Bela which is Portuguese for beautiful and then a dog he bought called something by his partner in Portuguese where she's from which I can't spell 🙂

ok , well , the guy across the street said he'll take BOTH kittens ; so they get to grow up together just kind of a slow 6.5 minutes here - no attack mode today from front porch- I started letting them in the house before they left. this was the result

They are certainly looking bigger and healthy cats jloi. As I been watching this video Missy cat has come in the bedroom 3 times and hollered at me to go in the other room so I can do our morning ritual where I lay on the floor and she decides which finger she will use to muzzle her chin on till she had enough, nips the hand then walk's off and I my useful to her is at an end till later. 😊

Yeah , I suppose we have a limited usefulness .
I made sure that once they got acclimated and used to me and their newborn fear was gone - to pet them like crazy and rub them like crazy so they would like human touching and not be standoffish - any more than they normally might be .
it's a sad day but soon I will rent a truck again and take the remaining male and mother cat up about 10 miles to - probably put them to sleep. she is not as friendly as him . he is a big pushover , just needs some love and petting and he would be your best friend - eventually - but if you prolong it he will bite . anyway I don't choose to support and be responsible for her pregnancies - again, nor for fixing such an unfriendly cat .
I brought the little one onto my bed twice , and after a few minutes of exploring the pillows etc. she started playing- hoping to start some sort of familiarity / play space/ ritual - but then I had work for last 3 weeks and couldn't devote the time

See if you can find a no kill shelter. There are organizations that will neuter the male and see if they can find it a home. They will spay the feral female and release her back into the 'wild'.
