spaz12 I've got plenty of homemade projects from my kids. They're 4 & 6 they are the perfect age now - to leave me to my garage time.. I've got plenty of beer to go around for any visitors. Reminds me I need to restock. Cutting the frame made me nervous but it came out fine still square. I'll weld it up later today. Then I need to clearance the inner fender for the stem.

Very tight fit there. But damn that disc break looks sexy on that wheel. The scoot is gonna look wicked. There are rear shocks that are resest to give a bit more space to the tire. Wait I'm gonna try to find an example for better understanding.

I can see it but that is a very light reses. The top connection part is resest too? The one I linked to is resest by 8mm from top to bottom. Worst case scenario, could you build some sort of adapter to place the rear shock next to the original connection? Make sense? Right now you seem to be OK with the one you have.

Even the OEM Shock it's tight! The last pic above is a 90/90 on a slightly wider stock wheel. It's close but it clears. My thinking is the width of the tread can't get wider then it already is. So if I can get that tire to seat on the wider wheel I should be ok. If not I can always relocate the shock mount. The lower I can go off of the cvt case bolts with an adapter the upper I would have to reweld over some. I'm not going there yet. I'll get the tires swapped and go from there.
