The 2T coil is fine on there.

Figured so. I think I'm gonna take it for a cruise, see what I think before I start slamming parts onto it.

New carb in, takes off great. Then at wot it starts to feel like it's running out of fuel. Looks lean on the plug, I'm gonna do some more jet swapping. I lowered the clip all the way already. That made a fifteen minute job turn into a search for another clip after the first one. Btw, Kymco is a jerk for their placement of the enricher plug. And I can't figure out how to get the body panels off. So i went about it from here. It was a bitch. And then when I started it, the fuel gauge said empty. I cursed all the way to the gas station, was only half empty. Went home, looked inside again, plug was connected, but pulled out just a little... Doh... I got a new intake and spacer too, but apparently I got the 150 version, which would've been great if the carb was large enough for the mouth. So I cancelled the opening of the ports for today. Now to find those jets....

So, I realized it cuts out at the same speed each time, larger jet and all. Restricted cdi! Duh... I'm not too comfortable cutting into the box, so I'll just order one...

My thought on it not being the rev limiter is correct. New unlimited cdi came in, still cuts out. So I'm thinking interruption in spark at higher speeds? Fuel not keeping up? When I have time I'll check the float bowl, maybe swap petcock out. With the spark, I dunno. Maybe I'll try another cap and cable and coil? I hate little issues like this. Claims there be a relation between the cutting out and an issue I have when it's first started that day? It will start up rather easy, but the idle fluctuates until it's warm and rode a little at wot. I've adjusted the carb at first install, but I may need to revisit that.
