This crank is big like the 90s, but so is my stocker. I'm sure I'll need to get a 90cc shroud to fit with the spacers.

I dont blame ya. I added up a few "high-end" 20hp set-ups and i gets over a grand really quick . I havent finished a dream set-up yet lol, costs too much. I payed my attention now i aint got no cents lol. I think it would be a good combo for power/reliability. Im interested in what the extra stroke will give wanna these kits...Just try it out with the stock porting for awhile, gives ya that "base" to work with.

If the initial cost isn't bad enough, those high rev setups will tear up parts faster and keep you spending.
One thing I need to figure out is if I can use a 70cc pipe without issue. I'm guessing it would be alright since I'm only looking at 75cc. That would save me some money since I've got an MRP pipe here. I'd like to replace it at some point because it's pretty beat, but hopefully it can work for awhile.

Im sure a 70cc pipe would be fine, its the same cylinder(ports) with or w/out a bit of extra stroke(that im sure will help might i add). Use your MRP pipe until you find a good deal on a better pipe. From what i have read the Leo pipes are an ok start, but the "real" pipes dont say "Leo". They are for sure allot better than some of the cheapo knockoff pipes like the one i tried though. What a waste of materiel and money that pipe was. Live and learn! At the rate 190mech is going he might be able to build us good pipes at a better deal.?.

Yeah, I don't really think it will be an issue, but after seizing so many times trying to run a 70cc pipe on a bigger engine I can't help but think about it. Of course that was a 70cc pipe on a 100cc engine, not a 70cc pipe on a 75cc engine. The MRP was a good pipe on my 70. I could definitely feel it hit the pipe. If it works out about the same on here, it would be nice.

When you get the cylinder on,get me the exhaust duration degree, transfer duration, exhaust port flange diameter, port length, max power RPM and I'll see what #'s the "Bell calc" gives us.I like the MRP copy you supplied me the measurments with, but its 'old school'.A tapered head pipe and 3 stage diffuser will get a bunch more. There is a ton of pipes out there, but as youve seen they like to add screen and baffles here and there which kills a pipe...

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it'll be MRP to start. Then I'm thinking, if money allows it eventually, of something like these...
Yasuni R
"The Yasuni R exhaust system is the big brother of the Yasuni Z. Due to its larger expansion chamber and wider down-pipe diameter, the Yasuni R is the perfect exhaust system for 70cc sport and racing cylinders such as Malossi MHR Replica, Polini Corsa, Stage6 Sport Pro or Racing, etc. The Yasuni R exhaust's characteristics are similar to those for the ForRace or Nardo and Yasuni has found a clever way to attach the rear silencer (with seal rings and spring)."
Polini For Race 2
"Revised expansion chamber and ForRace 2 badge. The well-known features like a slip-on silencer and a fat and brawny midsection have been kept. This is a real must-have for strong sport cylinders and midrace cylinders such as Stage6 Racing, Polini Corsa, Manston Replica etc."
The main problem with those is that they carry $300 price tags.

Here are some nice looking pipes, dont know what they cost.. www.roost.si/exhaust/minarelli.htmThis is the type of pipe Bell refers to in his book, but I also think 'style' has a lot to do with pipe sales.

Those Roost pipes like some serious revs.
Not sure where to get a deal on Yasuni pipes. Overseas shipping can be a killer. You can keep checking eBay and craigslist and hope to get lucky.

I wanna start working toward getting this done, so I have been doing a little thinking about the setup. I believe I'm gonna go with this to start : 45mm Stroker Crank Polini Sport Kit Stage6 Cylinder Spacer w/Longer Studs Autotech Reed Cage w/CF Reeds Stock Ported Intake Arreche 19mm Carb UNI Clone Filter MRP 70cc Pipe I'd like to try out a Yasuni pipe, a slightly larger DellOrto carb w/larger intake, and a better reed cage but I already own most of the stuff listed. Only part of that I don't have is the spacer/stud kit. I may get a better reed setup, not sure. The Autotech reeds are looking a little frayed on the edges. No light is passing through yet, but I don't trust 'em that much. Of course I still gotta talk to my machinist about getting the case done. BTW, I don't know if I ever told you guys, but 190mech offered to do the machine work for me for no cost as a donation to the site. I declined because I have already told my machinist I would want it done by him and I like to stick to stuff because I get people that tell me they want work done and never come through and I know it sucks. That was a greatly appreciated and unexpected offer though. Thanks again. I'm not saying to look for pics and updates on the build right away, but it's not forgotten. I definitely wanna get my Father out with me again so we can see who can break the next bone first.

Sounds like a very stout set-up to start with. Im curious to hear how much more toque the extra stroke is gonna give an already torquy cylinder . That was very nice to offer 190mech

I'd like to build a 'large' Minerelli one day,but have read else where how a stroker crank gets the transfer port timing waaay off. Most of us are on a budget and cant just order the top of the line stuff, but it would be neet to have a 100cc or so machine to tour around with...

Added a few more parts to the pile... Polini CF Reed Cage Hoca Performance Variator (same as I use on T2) Hoca Performance Rear Pulley Set Bando 788 17 28 Belt OEM Starter Clutch 90cc Engine Shroud Hebo Cylinder Spacer The Polini reed setup is pretty nice. Comes with another set of reeds, a stuffer, and gaskets. I have to say, the Malossi I have is nicer, but the Polini was about $20 cheaper. The Hoca rear pulley set looks pretty good for just over $100 for it all. I needed a new clutch and bell anyway because I used the one off of this scoot when the one for T2 wore out. Not sure where my rear pulley went. The clutch bell has cooling holes and grooves for better grip. Looks like good stuff to me. The clutch shoes are different than stock too. Seem a bit more grippy. I think the contra is stiffer too. I'm curious to see if the torque driver is just stock or what.
