Did a compression test with my new gauge. 120 whopping PSIs. Also took it for a quick ride, hit 50 downhill and 47 on flatish ground.

Looks like my scooter is finally gonna get some actual use for transportation next week since I can't take my car to school yet. It's been sitting in the corner all lonely because my new car is taking up all my attention. Hopefully soon I'll do the torque sheave and new gears along with painting the rims and putting on new tires. Even after sitting for the last few weeks it fires right up. Also need to mess around with the base gasket to get more compression. Who knows, maybe my GY6 will crack 55MPH.
But then I remember that my car cost half as much as this scooter, and I have more money into it..

Finally started working on it again. Took off the wheels and painted them, took the CVT apart, and took the gearbox off. No idea how I'm gonna get the gears apart because I don't have access to a press. I took a quick vid of it running after I took the exhaust off, because why not.   |

Tore down the engine today, took a look at the dark ring in the cylinder, and decided to just reassemble it sans base gasket to see what'd happen. Up to 135PSI, cranking with no carb/intake.

So hopefully a guy is coming to look at it soon. Been on Craigslist for awhile, was at $800 but then I realized that wasn't gonna happen. It's down to $550 now and I've had like 3 non-scam inquiries..

SOLD, for $550 to some kid who had his old scooter stolen. I'll miss it, but now I got the money I need for the turbo project I have planned for my car. I guess I won't be here much, at least not until I get an itch for being on two wheels again..
