Just checked tracking my computer should be here today. I bought a used del off lease. Quad core processor 2 1tb hard drives 12gb ram. Running 7 pro 64 bit with the coa#and restore disc. Since it is clean and I can reload it back to 7 I'm going to try 10 on it. I've had real good luck with these dell business machines. I had 2 of them that had duel p4's 15k hard drives etc. Fast and solid running xp or Linux right up to the lightning strike that put me back into the stone age lol. I've just been running my laptop since then but it got smashed so o got a free hand me down to get through and it had been blue screening me. The off lease dell may not be the fastest things in the world but they are built for business and with better components than what you hey over the counter from the box stores. Plus I get them for about $200. Cheep enough I can throw them out if I need to

I've been running Windows 10 on most things I've got. I actually like it better than 8.1 or 7, but there are some modifications you can do to remove some of the prying eyes issues most are talking about.
I am still running 1 system with Windows 7 primarily because we have a Ceton InfiniTv6 and we use that system as a whole home DVR. Due to DRM, we are stuck with Windows Media Center which Windows 10 does not have..

moofus02, I'll have to hit you up some time about getting a computer from you because that sounds like an awesome deal. I like that it has so much memory, that way I won't have problems running CS6.

Well it showed up today. Very nice machine. Even has the Dell windows 7 64 bit service pack 1 install disc. There are better ones available but had no op system installed. Now I got the disc I can get one with duel quad core processors and use this disc to load them. Spaz if you are interested I got their direct number if you want it. They had a few more of these

hey moo;;; if it has 7,, you can get the free 10 upgrade;; go to windows web site,, it is a very long download,, and there some things about 10 i don't like,, but the 2 main things i like are,, it has its own built in anti virus,, called the defender, and it wont slow the comp down,, the 2nd is 10 just runs fast and smooth,,its the best since 98, which i still love,,

I can upgrade and reload 7 if I don't like 10. From my understanding once I put 10 on it will know the computer if I reload it later

moo'''''''' i don't think you will ever want to go back, and you need to know you cant;;; after 10 download is done, it will erase 7, or 8.1, whichever you have. it will do a clean, so nothing will interfere with 10... there is a slight learning curve,, but after you run 10 for awhile you will love it,, you will lose nothing,, every little setting will stay, include all your files and pictures. the new browser is good, and run it if you want,,, i like Firefox, which will also remember everything when you re-download it.. any questions just ask;; steve
