New starter in installed and still has a hard time turning over, but i manage to get a more accurate compression test.

I guess i'll add more gasket.
Pictures of the starter in my bucket.

1 @#$&* day off in 11 days. I go out for a test drive. Did i mention that the chain was really tight? Well it broke and the stroker crank is toasted.
Rebuilding with the stock crank as we speak, i need it to get to work in the morning.
Will put up some pictures later on. Keep me some pop corn.

Its all cleaned up now and the bent valve was replace and tested with break cleaner for leaks yesterday. It will be rebuilt with the stock crank, i just cant afford another of those stroker crank. I'm waiting on my gaskets to rebuild it but if i dont have them by the end of the day or tomorrow i'm gonna cancel my order and buy them locally. At this point im passed pissed off about this build. If you ever go for this "short" stroker crank, get a 46 link timing chain. You will save money and a lot of frustration.

Its zipped up and running, only need to tune up the carb. I get a lots of sputtering when i give it some gas. Plug says its too rich with a 115 main jet but it was running good with a 125 before the chain go blenderized.

Sputtering and backfired just dont really add up. After swaping the carb it just would not start. The plug boot was off the plug... maybe i need some vacations.
Pluged it back but the wire came off at the other end.... I need vacations bad.
So it turns out that my carb problem was a fire problem. Starts like a charm with the stock starter. The heavy duty one fried. ( freaking orange piece of manure... )
I think im gonna start a pole about what you might think will break next.

I went for a little ride around the block. I've beaten the shit out of it and all seems fine but i think im a little lean. It should be fine to get me to work and back for the next few days.
Gonna work on it some more later on this week, plug chops and all that annoying crap.

Here is a little review of the stuff i bought and what i think of it so far: -The 170cc Naraku big bore kit: It looks like its doing some nice power. -The stroker crank: I havent been able to enjoy its full potential, but it did seem to make a diffrence. I feel i had a little more power with it the with the stroker crank. Its a no brand stroker, but it seems to be decent enough for the price. - the 30mm Naraku racing carb $91 US. (this one: scootertuning.ca/fr/carburettors/490005-carburetor-naraku-30mm-racing-diaphragm-operated.html) Its just a reboxed CF moto 250 carb, you can get the same on AliExpress for $25. US. ( www.aliexpress.com/item/Scooter-ATV-CF250-CH250-CN250-HELIX-Qlink-Commuter-Carburetor-30mm-PD30J-K-H/1319135665.html?spm=2114.10010108.1000014.1.dkwj6p&scm=1007.13338.35813.0&pvid=07984511-082c-44d0-8a7d-097994d0fbc3&tpp=0) -The heavy duty electric starter motor: It died after very little usage. My stock electric starter took a load of abuse and is still working good. The orange piece of manure died 2 days ago and did not even suffer 10% of the abnormal starting i've put my stock one trough. -The Naraku big valves head: To get an accurate idea of its performance i would have to get the engine back to its stock form and test it with only the head as an upgrade. If you'd ask me to do that at this point, you would feel a sharp sudden pain in the back of your head. The ports on the head are bigger then on my stock one, the valves are the same size. I havent tested the top speed yet, but it is giving me more power the a stock engine. On take off and at low to mid speed what i added to the top end is getting tamed by the longer +10% gears i added. If you ask me if it was all worth it: I had fun toying and wrenching on it, but knowing what i know now, i would simply go for a 160 BBK with cam and big head valves.
