I'm curious what cruise speeds you had before and what they'll be when it's all tuned. My 155cc with an A9 cam and mild porting and 10.5:1 static compression is not impressing me with it's ~50MPH WOT cruising and about 60MPH max.

All stock i had a top speed of 90kmh (56 mph). I'm hoping for at least 100kmh, maybe even reach the same top speed as tiny with his 150cc Kymco. I got the compression at 150 psi with the shaved top piston (took about 2mm off of it)

I'm glad to hear it's not just me going kinda slow (no offense meant). If you just read what is on some other forums and the rest of the internet, you'd think these things are all 60-70MPH capable stock.

I dont mind the "slow" part as long as i can go for long rides and wrench on it.

This came with the 100cc BBK i got way back when it was still a 50cc scooter. Since its still almost brand new, i installed it tonight. It was on my scooter for about 9000 km now and i dont see why it could not last another 9000 km.

On a lighter note, the engine runs great, it was a little lean but i pulled the needle up and installed my supercharged ChinaFlow air filter. I'll do a plug check after work tomorrow.

The plug chop came out pretty black, so a little test ride is in order. Go big or go home they say, so it was a 200 km round trip. The engine runs great, i manage a 90 kmh cruising speed and did a few WOT stretches toping at 103. On the way back i noticed some oil dripping from the crankcase where the gears are. I suspect i blew a seal behind the variator. Not much else went wrong. Will do a little scamping post after supper. Stay tuned.
