55watt driving light to replace the one I was using as a headlight. Bulb popped when I wrecked. New h3 bulb was $9.99, pair of lights with bulba, brackets, wiring kit was $19.99. I'm gonna need a light for the xl70 anyway so I bought the light kit.

Ordered a handful of those exhuast crush washer thingies and an iridium plug. Today my Ford CoP, Loctite, and variator nut arrive. Won't be losing that thing again, hopefully.. Gonna give it a try huh? Did you get the regular black one or the "performance" yellow one? I got a normal one, but it's not OEM like I was hoping.. Probably still beats the Chineseum stock coil anyway.

These. I hope they're not too terribly long. by my measurements after completing the purchase they're about an inch longer than I would guess to be the length I want...

I have one of those on my jog right now. getting ready to ditch it for a malossi rs1 soon. How are they? I really wasn't going for pure performance at this point, just something that looked good and fit. This is just my opinion based on my use of that shock on my 1990 Jog with a pre bug engine swapped on. 1st off, its slightly long for what I need, but then again my need is a special case on this scoot since its got a swap.. Its a low quality shock with galvanized spring instead of powder coated. Also I was assuming it was going to be an oil filled shock but it has an air reservoir that you put air into with an air chuck. It rides great with spring tension maxed out and it has 20 psi in it, but it'll only hold air for an hour at most before it bleeds out (maybe mine is just bad). So for what I need it suck, its pretty soft and Im going to ditch it for a tried and true. It could be good for you since you have a dual shock setup they may work better for you and your riding style too, you never know until you try.

I actually only have a single shock, but thanks for sharing your experience, Just in case I have similar issues. I am thinking it'll hold up until I start going performance on this bike

Ooh boy, I just ordered the oil cooler kit off Scrappydog. This damn thing is draining all my money.. Does anyone know how much the oil cooler helps? The filter will be nice to have too.. EDIT: So I found this on totalruckus advertising an oil cooler kit over there: The oil filter that comes with the Scrappy kit seems to be the one on the left. I want a real oil filter, not a screen. Would an aluminum fuel filter work or something?
