Well, because of the unfamiliar nice weather we had yesterday I went out and flogged the bike (much to the consternation of my neighbors) up and down the street a few dozen times. Was able to hit (GPS) 31.8 mph in about 7 houses. My pipe seems to be turning a weird color (dark red / brown). I don't think its too lean though. Seems to be running rich by benandangie, on Flickr ...and it looks like I have a little more to do on the wiring.

What wiring do you have to do? Electrically it's finished, I just need to do something about it hanging on the rear tire.

Well, after playing the jetting game and some new transmission parts, it's running better than ever... www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=2044524191065&saved#!/video/video.php?v=2044524191065 I need a better place to test. 220 lb rider + 140 lb scooter + junk suspension + bumpy road = 35 mph of terror.

That did it. Nice vid! Looks like it gets moving pretty well, and more than 35. lol
I'm heavier than you, but still the first time I rode one of the tiny scoots like this one with the subpar suspension it was a little unnerving. The first time I moved on the seat a little and the whole scoot swerved was an eye opener. You get used to it though. I don't think twice about going 60 on my Venus now.

That did it. Nice vid! Looks like it gets moving pretty well, and more than 35. lol Thanks! The best recorded speed on that stretch of road was 38.5 mph although I'm not convinced on the accuracy of my hiking GPS getting a good read in such a short run. I'm positive it feels faster than it is though lol. Now that I've put the heavier contra spring in, when it starts to come onto the pipe I feel the front end getting light. That spring has made a HUGE difference. Thanks Jeremy! Also, when I say "comes onto the pipe" I think that's what's happening. When it was stock it would be all like wuuuuuuuuuuuhuuuuuhhuuuuhhhhhh, and now it's all like wuhhhh WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! I just wish I didn't run out of road before I ran out of WAAAAA. still waiting on my tach to show up. :hrumph:

 Yes, that's hitting the pipe alright. The 4Ts need nitrous to get the same feeling. No chemicals needed here. ;D Once the tach shows up you'll have to find a longer road and see how much WAAAA you've really got.

I had the pleasure of riding this little beast at the Thunderdrome and its badass. Actually a little too fast for the weight and suspension on this bike, keep up the good work Ben.
