For those of us who have wanted the Stage6 inner rotor, but decided against it because it offers no power for lighting or electric pump, here's the alternative. Piaggio Minarelli Minarelli and Piaggio Here's some info about it and part numbers for both Minarelli and Piaggio. With and without lighting: Default Digital power-Reprogrammable R & D New generation ignition, radial rotor available with and without lighting system. With variable advance unit with 2 selectable mappings, reprogrammable. The two mappings are defined through numerous bench tests and track tests. Technical data: Digital ignition; with variable ignition advance up to 20,000 rev / min; radial rotor with low moments of inertia. Control unit: Digital, controlled by a specific microprocessor controller; Ultra lightweight with SMT assembly technology; Dual mapping; Reprogrammable. Coil: Operational for just 240 rev / min; Capacitive discharge (CDI). rotor - stator: low weight radial rotor; Low energy consumption; Stator, power generator, resin. The power is available for engine Minarelli and Piaggio in versions with light or without light. Codes for Piaggio versions: With lighting system RD45140CL - List Price € 355.88 inc. Without lighting system RD45140SL - List price € 355.88 VAT incl. Codes for Minarelli versions: With lighting system RD45166CL - list Price € 355.88 inc. Without lighting system RD45166SL - list Price € 355.88 inc. Looks awesome! Are there provisions for mounting a fan to the rotor? I saw water pump studs, but there looks like there may be bolt holes for a fan in your picture.
I am about ready to buy a decent inner rotor setup. Anyone in the US stock it?

I searched through the part number and could only find a few shops that carries the one with the lighting circuit, and they were all in Europe.

Missed the other question about the fan... The fan uses the same mounting holes as the pump and so bolts right up.

Is it a stator? Or is it a water pump engine? 2t is absolutely nothing like a 4t. Man I hate cramming for tests. And I've still got 2 more 4t tests if I live long enough to take em.

Inner Rotor ignition. You can call it a stator I suppose. A lot of people refer to them as iggy's also.

Is it a stator? Or is it a water pump engine? 2t is absolutely nothing like a 4t. Man I hate cramming for tests. And I've still got 2 more 4t tests if I live long enough to take em. It's a replacement for the stock stator and flywheel that's much smaller and lighter to make the engine very responsive and to stand up to the high revs that some race oriented setups see. Timing is adjustable. Many don't include any lighting/charging coils. The ones that do, to my knowledge, don't put out as much as stock. You can find something somewhat similar for the 4T. Parts For Scooters sells a Hoca "lightweight alternator" kit for them, like a stock setup only with a much smaller flywheel. Those put the coils in the center and the flywheel spins around them. For an inner rotor, the coils are in the outside and there's just a small attachment to the crank that spins inside of them.
