Exact, keep the gear in there as a spacer but remove everything else, belt and oill pump, easy to, should take 30-60mins

Diameters are way easier to figure than circumference,,Looks like the first short headpipe section is straight,so this is an educated guess,,,Max RPM 10,300,head pipe a bit long(39%-ideal is 30-32%).Diffuser a bit short, but combined they come out to a perfect 68%..Baffle cones are decent angles, outlet pipe(stinger) is 22.6mm,might just make a good 90+ street pipe!!

Thanks for the assessment. Sorry about the measurements, I forget things a lot. LOL! So do you think the durations of 193 and 131 are a little too aggressive for this pipe? I could tone it down just a bit if necessary. 70cc Piaggio

No,I'd shorten the headpipe to up the max RPM it likes..What do you think that builds max RPM will be??

I did around 12000 with a MHR Racing pipe for about 219 new at 189/131, but single exhaust port. With the R, you dont want to go over 9000, and really, 193 is WAY to tough on that. C16 or more.

drc174 This was a stock Piaggio motor, that I wanted to do a BBK and a pipe. I bought an airsal single ring aluminium single ex port kit, and a Yasuni R pipe. The Airsal kit did not set up too well so I bought a S6 MKII sport to try. The S6 did not set up very well either. On both kits if I space the cylinder out to get the piston flush with the bottom of the transfers at BDC the squish is huge and the durations are high.

I had mine at 0.87mm with 189/131 if i remember correctly. Not 100% ideal, but far more than enough. However, what do you mean did not set up well with the Airsal? My sport MK2 ran decent enough with a sill QTRE pipe. Are you sure your carb/cvt adjustments are correct? Drop the squish to 0.9, put the R back on and play around with 5.5-6.5 gr (19x15.5)

I started thinking about where this build was leading me to. I originally just wanted to throw an aluminium kit and a mild pipe on and tune it just a bit. But since both cylinders I have end up with long duration's if I space them up to where the transfers are flush with the piston at BDC, the Yasuni R pipe I have will not work well. So I took advantage of a holiday sale and ordered a Yasuni C16. After all said and done I got the pipe for about $180. Hopefully the stock crank and CVT components will hold up for a while.

I have NEVER seen a Piaggio crank break, so do not worry. (well I melted one once, but that's a DIFFERENT story) Piaggio CVT: The Malossi one is insanely good. I do infact have a MHR CVT laying around, PM me if interested. What I would get however is a different clutch. The original Piaggio clutch is lame af, A FLy, Delta if you have the budget or even a Motofrce one are really good and give you that extra oomph off the line

I just so happen to have a HIT clutch and a Stage 6 clutch that I could use on this. Is the stock CVT any good? The rear pulley looks decent but what about the variator?
