The fun never ends around here. This one isn't Monty's fault. Moisture caused some issues in drywall by the tub so I cut a chunk out today. Gotta wait for dry weather to pick up a sheet of moisture resistant stuff. Ended up having to cut out even more, up above the heater. Now I need to dig out the old caulk in the tub/shower and redo that.

The fun train keeps on rollin'. Dug out the old caulk between the tub and tile ad redid it. Looks like a different tub now. Getting started on some work in the hallway. Just took the oven apart and out of the wall. It has been running cool when baking. Tried to bake fries yesterday and it was in the low 300s when set to 450. Temp sensor and both baking elements check out OK. Control panel on order. I should have known it would be the most expensive part that requires hardly any disassembly to replace after I've taken the whole thing apart. Meanwhile, my father needed help this morning because he's struggling to breathe. He has been coughing and the doc said it's bronchitis, but he was gasping for breath this morning. Scary to see and obviously scary for him. Finally got him convinced to head to the hospital and get checked out.

Belt broke on the dryer last weekend. Now after having completely removed the backside panel, the dryer vent hose, save the gas line thankfully, and completely removing the top that is held on by a couple hinge brackets in the rear, I now realize the top lifts off by hand, and only two sheet metal screws need to be moved to remove the front face, thus freeing the barrel and the rest of the goods. At least the belt was only $16, and not the most expensive part of the dryer!

Save the bag to cover your school books. Kids won’t get that now either, everything is online or paperback.

Put a lock on wife's shed door, only taken 2yrs. All done and made secure with a old screwdriver through the hasp. Top security here no expense spared on security 🙃
