Got an old PC running for a family member. Kind of against my will, but it's done now, complete with a recommendation of new PCs and Best Buy's phone number if it fails again.

This morning I fitted a new toilet seat. I shall now test it for comfort by reading the whole of Dostoyevsky's book The Brothers Karamazov.

What are you using cement for? Making a shed base for a shed I picked up a couple of years ago from a neighbour that moved away so Yolanda have somewhere store her stuff

Is cement what they call concrete over there? I notice the bags are cement. Over here a shed base would be made of concrete which is a mixture of cement, sand, crushed stone, and water. We usually buy a pre-mix in bags and add water, mix it up, then place the mixture in a form. Sometimes we buy the separate components and mix them in a portable concrete mixer, or we order the concrete in a truck from a batch plant. Very small batches can be mixed in a wheelbarrow.
Just checking...

The cement is just the powdwer on its own and the 1 ton dumpy bag is 3/4" chippings and down to dust so sand is not required as the granite dust does the job of sand. A mixer hopefully is being supplied by a friend or I am in for a good workout FrankenMech 😊

I am glad it is you and not me. I have a mixer, but it runs on our wimpy 120V mains power, LOL
Remember, put the water in the mixer first.

Well ground softer than we thought so order a new bag of 20mm to dust chippings and pound this lot down with the wacker rammer.

Took a trip to a county park with the kids. On the way there I was thinking there are so many curves this would be a great road for 2 wheels. On the was back someone on a sport bike decided to take a shortcut through a field approaching a curve. I looped around to check on him. Besides a bruised ego and being covered in mud he was fine. I’ll still take one of the bikes there tomorrow...
