I have a bird problem also, one just outside my back door and another one seems hell bent on building a nest over my back security light.
I can't see real well but it looks like your ruck back tire may need attention.

The Ruck tire actually isn't that bad, those are just a couple of mud streaks from the last mess I rode around in. The motorcycle tire on the other hand, is very worn. Just ordered a new one today. Really been pushing the edge of performance on this stuff, apparently

To my old eyes it looked like it had worn through the tread rubber and was into the carcass rubber, next stop -the cords. Glad it is OK. I am not looking forward to changing my scoot tires. I have changed hundreds of bike tires, and thousands of car and truck tires, even split rims, but scoot tires look like a PITA. That China rubber wears really fast.

If I had to choose between doing taxes or scoot tires, i do neither. Much less painful to pay for those services!

Scoot tires aren't that bad. The worst ones I've done are the 15" tires on the TMAX and the 6" tires on the cateye that I had. The 10-12-13-16-17" stuff hasn't bugged me too much in general. You'll be fine. A lot of it is just getting used to the technique and the rest is using good tools. Don't screw around with pry bars and screwdrivers. Don't even bother with cheap irons or spoons IMO. Just get a good setup from the start. I had some OK irons for a while and then I got the Motion Pro Bead Pro irons and they make it even easier. $50 is nothing compared to the amount of money I would have paid out in tire changes... plus the convenience of DIY vs dealing with a shop.

If you don't have a quality kit designed for changing tired don't panic. I've used a normal tire iron and a large flat screwdriver or small crowbar. The hardest part is always the bead. First breaking it then seating it. I normally use a bottle Jack and a heavy vehicle, or a bumoerjack and something g stupid heavy/ unmovable. IE I've used the bumper Jack and tongue of a mobile home hundreds of times, not just for scoot tires. Seating the bead is easy enough, if you're patient. Slick the bead of the rim, and the rubber. I usually do this thing where I drop the tire from chest height as I spin it towards me. The bead just needs to catch a little bit. Pulling the valve stem is a good idea if you have a compressor. Either way, I am sure you can it. The worst ones I've ever done were the stupid low profile tires on my Cyprus. The tire is less than two inches tall from the bead to the tread. And stiff.. . Took me all damned day.

Worked on my ex bosses grandkids bikes today I still have 3 to finish. I always find the smallest one first and work back as the younger kids bikes always seem to have more problems

Put new blades on one of the riding mowers this afternoon. The darn thing leaves a strip of grass so I waste time going back over stuff. I think it has a lot to do with the fabricated deck. The stamped stuff is better formed, but much thinner. It's supposed to use 17 3/4" blades. I put an 18" in the center and the normal 17 3/4" on the sides. I've got a little more than 1/8" between blades, but there was no way I was getting the 18" blades all the way across. Didn't smack into each other and send metal flying on the first test run so maybe that will at least help my mower end it's career as a stripper.

You have a new name to paint on the side of the mower now.
That overlap is why they usually put the three blades in a delta pattern.

The organization I work for was asked to help paint a mural in front of City Hall. There were a number of organizations involved and it was happening quick. I became involved Thursday afternoon and started asking the dumb questions "whose getting the paint" "where are the volunteers coming from". So I quickly got some of my Union friends to help including two scene painters with a lot of experience. I discovered Friday morning no one had bought the paint. So I contacted the lead artist and we went off to Lowes and bought 50-60 gallons of paint. Saturday was a nice cool day and everyone showed up and they knocked this out. Like all good events I did very little all day because I had done my job of getting everything and everyone there to do there jobs. Here is the result:
