Aside from a full week's worth of engineering backlog get it done now B.S. because i just got back from "vacation", I am adding a USB port to my motorcycle for hopefully one more anticipated epic bike tour before winter. Mmm, bad variables. THO: Loop in the Catskills? There's a neat looking road from Deposit to Walton (New York). From there, what looks like an awesome road ~150 mile loop into the forest and cutback to Walton. Been setting up the bike for this, scoot's still there. And still thinking of 170cc BBK for something to do this winter. Saw a FIAT Grom the other day in Kansas City that was pretty badass. Otherwise, keep getting better at pulling wheelies on the Duke.

The bike on the left is a Balfa. Steel frame, takes a beating. Rode that on downhill courses, after i was riding the free ride bike on the right with white swing arm, Santa Cruz Bullit. 7" travel front & rear, dual crown front end. Riding hardtail on downhill was one of the most exhilarating times of my life. IIRC three times. Analog at its best!

I worked on sealing up my attic where a raccoon got in early Thursday morning. Sealed it at night when it was probably out foraging. No noises since...

Spent half my day playing with the Cob i1042 because it wasn't getting fuel. Traced it to the pump, thought the diaphragm might have gave out after it's 790 (running!) hours. Not the pump. Tried starting it again. Blew the dipstick out of the crank case. Tore it all down. Original hoses for everything. A big chunk of the source hose for the pulse port on the pump had jammed up,the PVC was stopped, and the rest of the "emissions" crap was stuffed. Repaired all that, replaced every hose on it, cleaned the carb (three times. Twice cuz it was blocked up,once for peace of mind after rinsing the tank and replacing the lines), new plug valve adjustment, and the second I put the bitch in gear the fuggin right hydraulic pump roasted. Thankfully it's not too bad of a job, so it did t take that long, but 485$ from the dealer is beyond fucked.
Started the process of building a hillbilly brush cutter. 48 inch deck, triple timed blades,18HP Kohler, and a 7 spd rear end from an old Murray 12/36. Had all the stuff, and am tired of swinging a weed eater on these damned hills. Can handle walking behind that thing (1-4th gears are super low) better I hope. Plus, it should be a fun project. I'll try to update with pics as I go,but I don't carry my phone on the farm all the time. I break too many that way...

Good luck with your brush mower project. I have a small lot with tall gardens so I built a Frankenmower out of an old 24" mower with a cast deck. The power wheels did not work, and no parts are available so I just push it. It was $5 or $10 at a garage sale, runs good but smokes a little. I cut the front part of the deck away between the wheels to expose the blade. It works great for the gardens and mulches the residue up well. When it dies I will look for another at a garage sale. I will be using it for fall cleanup as soon as the leaves fall.
Blowing the dipstick out probably means fuel in the crankcase.

Woke up this morning looked at my phone and saw it was 7:14. WTH! My alarm didn't go off, figures I have a PoS Apple phone that likes to do that. Threw on my uniform and headed into work. Opened the place up, started bleeding the brakes on a truck I replaced the brake lines on Friday. 8:30 rolls around and the USPS still hasn't shown up for their scheduled inspection, so anticipated a text letting me know they broke something over the weekend. 8:45 showed and still nothing look at my cell and finally noticed it's SUNDAY! Such an idiot, oh well might as get the job done to make for a lax Monday.

The fuel pump pulse source was blocked solid. The rest of the "emissions" is built into the airbox, so that large portion is the only way for the pressure to get out. Unless the dipstick pops out, that is. Ugh. I need my brush cutter powered. Too many steep ass hils, and too much ground to cover. If it wasn't for the grade I'd use the bush hog or the pullbehind finish mower...

No doubt. Haven't made much progress to it yet. Have the parts arranged in the places I want everything, now to get some square tubing, some dot tube, and rods. Lots of welding rods. And some angle iron.

Sure glad ya'll are posting legitamate scooter content on a scooter forum! My contributions in that regard have sorta dwindled. Holding up my end of the story here... finally got my Thai money collection back in order. Got some currency with the new king (not that we're a fan, but hey). Current equivalent USD value of $73.91.

Some one told me if you need to get a grip of currency just go to a MacDonald's .129BHT gets a big Mac in Thailand £3.20 here in the UK so I would guess just a bit cheaper in Thailand,I think it,s more about disposable income to most, but that,s a nice display from your country?
