Over 900 LED lights and 1000 zip ties. I have blisters from zip tying lights on. He fired it up, it's runnin' real strong He's gonna ride wheelies all night long Santa Claus is scootin' to town He knows if you ride a 4 stroke He knows if your CVT's a joke He knows if your carb's in tune So get your jets right for ****s sake

Very very nice!
How did you get the colors to work out?
Where are the DEDs (Darkness Emitting Diodes) for the boots and the yellow or brown LEDs for the spot behind Santa on the seat?
DEDs are closely related to FEDs (Flame Emitting Diodes), PEDs (Plasma Emitting Diodes), and SEDs (Smoke Emitting Diodes). The last ones would be useful since I ASSUME the scoot is a 2T. I have used all these types in lab experiments.

How did you get the colors to work out? It's 10 100 light strings. I bought strings that were all white, red or green. Moving around from spot to spot with colors was done by simply covering a few bulbs in many cases. Most strings had 3 sections of series wired lights, so I did cut out a couple of sections totally to avoid huge jumbles of unused lights. There are also some bundles of lights covered in electrical tape for leftovers. I didn't want to chop up any series sections and change brightness and possibly longevity and I had no desire to get into trying to add resistors to even out changes. I initially thought that I could just swap bulbs, not realizing that different colors of LED bulbs have different resistances. Does not work with the lights that I have. Incandescents or LEDs that are white with colored covers are best for that. I wanted the bold LED colors though.

You are correct, chopping up series sections would have changed brightness and longevity. Nice job! You still need some yellow or brown LEDs
The only Xmas decoration I put up is a color changing porch light some years. Growing up in a retail store family pretty much ruined many holidays for me. Fireworks on the 4th is the only one I still like except I live in a city that outlaws them.

I'm not a person that's generally in the holiday spirit. I enjoy time with friends and family and seeing kids excited about Christmas, but everything changes the month or two before the big day and everything is more hectic and stressful to be out IMO. I've also argued against decorating, even though I do like lights, because it's just been work to me in the past. We never did anything big or special so I didn't really care about a string of lights or a couple of animated deer. Get a scooter involved and I can get excited about it and proud to display a bit of my affection for them.

Imagine the work when as a retailers 'slave' I had to decorate the house AND store with all the latest decorations and merchandise for every holiday starting when I was about 10 years old. I also had to wrap presents all year round.

Trailer got dragged on ramp today as got to trundle about 1200 miles in total on two long trips to pick up a Vespa and deliver a Honda scooter I sold. Metal work all good , wood work bit shot but will do, tyres good and only one side needs the wheel bearings greasing. Inner one done outer one soaking in petrol overnight as midnight and I want sleep
