Today at around 2:30-3:00 our dearest dog Tiny Metzger passed away in my arms. Its a very sad quiet, rainy, windy day here. He was ill but not doing too bad until today. We set him an apt for 5 but fate waits for no appointments. Rest In Peace Tiny Metzger

So sorry to hear of your loss of Tiny. I'm sure he will be missed and mourned. Nothing can be said to make you feel better, so just know I understand your hurt. Lost many furry friends in my lifetime.

Thanks Goosey! Im sure you understand. The support from friends and family does help tho. Tiny had allot of friends that will miss him allot. He was "that dog" that always greets with a happy tail wag. Wouldnt hurt a fly. If there is a doggy heaven i know our Tiny is there.

Sorry to read about Tiny Rob. I know every time I was over there he always welcomed me with that puppydog face and wagging tail. I know he meant alot to you and all but hows Erica taking it? The pain will eventually subside but the memories will always be with ya.

I don't know about heaven, but I know I had three different strange events, with three different dogs, to make me believe, something.

Sorry about your family's loss of Tiny, Robert. I just helped my cousin lay out a place in his back yard for a plot for his dog, Fred, who was just diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer which has metastasized into his lymph nodes. Fred, a Golden Retriever mix , is a gentle soul also. My cousin has been buying him $1.00 hamburgers at McDonald's for the last three days since the diagnosis.

Erica is a mess. Tiny was our first dog in our first home together. It is tuff guys. We lost part of our family. Torquer wont come off his bed. The whole house is quiet and everybody is in bed early. Very sad day. We will be celebrating Tiny,s life soon. But today is for mourning, we cant help it.

sorry to hear this. I lost 3 when my shop burned, and a 4th was in such bad shape we had to put her down. My father has not been the same since. "The candle that burns twice s bright burns half as long, the candle of the canine soul burns very very brightly indeed" -Unknown
