I keep thinking about a baby wood stove. It's not like I need warm, just bearable in the really cold months. Just never done it. I've got so many trees down around the house that wood wouldn't be an issue for a long time as long as I felt like cutting and storing it.

Great idea!!! You got the wood too. Its a win, win! Helped a guy build a couple one off wood burners. I learned from it and ended up keeping my old shop warm in the cold months with one. The smell can be great, but at the same time it can be annoying. I cant have one in this garage

I built one out of 30 gal drums years ago and it'd keep the garage warm...

My biggest issue is that my family is paranoid about fire after relatives died in a fire years ago. Otherwise, that looks like an affordable way to get going with wood heat. I think it's as safe as anything else if you pay attention to it. It's not like I plan to leave the door open with a log hanging half out and a gas can beside it or something.

Like I said, unfortunately updates will be a bit, but I certainly hope to continue once I'm a little more comfortable riding regularly.
As you can probably tell, I love the bigger minarelli clones and I think it's hard to go wrong with one as long as you get the right case length etc... and are aware of what you're buying.

Well, the weather is warming up and I had hoped to get some decent progress toward the next phase of Project 90 (probably the final phase) before now. Unfortunately, it just hasn't worked out too well so far. Since it's already April and no updates, I thought I'd at least let you guys and gals know that first I still want to do it and second why I've been slow getting started. I've said it on the forum before, so some of you know I take care of my 91 year old grandmother that lives here. That's been a big part of the delay. More info HERE] (discussion started in this thread, moved to keep on topic better). On top of that, the scooter is not being cooperative. I have got some tuning done over the last few weeks. I've wanted to take a decent test ride for a couple of weeks now and that hasnt worked out. The first time I thought I was going to get a ride in I had nothing when I hit the starter button. My turn signals didn't work right, etc.... I had 12.65V at the battery at rest. When I turned the ignition switch on it dropped to 5-6V. I hit the starter button and it plummeted to 0.7V. I've never even seen one drop like that before. I replaced the battery with a Motobatt that's got a little more power for the same physical size ( more details). After the wait for that, I had more wait for another chance to ride. Last night I thought I was going to get out to see how the tune was. I started up T2/P90 and realized I had no tail light. Revved it up, still nothing. Hit the brake, still nothing. I used a multimeter to find that I had power at the connector as I should. I removed the tail/brake light assembly to find that a wire had not only came off of the circuit board, but took part of the printed circuit with it. I have no idea how that happened. All of my wires are secured well, or at least I thought they were and it sure seems like it whenever I have to cut 50 zip ties to get to anything. I thought at first perhaps I could make a solder trail or something to replace the circuit. That was a dumb idea I suppose, cause solder doesn't stick to the circuit board of course. Figured I'd try it, but I've never really done much with circuit boards. I tried to find the same LED assembly I had, but I guess no one sells it anymore. I ended up ordering an LED tail/brake/turn assembly for a 2007-2008 Kawasaki ZX6R that looks like it would be about the right size. I couldn't find any measurements, just looked at pics and tried to note it's size relative to things like exhaust, tires, license plates. I've got my fingers crossed. A lot of the other stuff I saw didn't convince me it would be bright enough or was just too much money. So, once that comes in I'll get it installed and try again for a test ride at some point to see where I'm at with the tune for even the baseline of the next phase. I have a feeling the transmission is going to be a pain to get right with the issues I had last go-round. It doesn't help that I've gained back weight I had lost. I noticed already it takes more throttle to cruise, but I'm still trying to work out if it's the carb, the trans, or my fat ass. lol Anyway, I do hope to get this going and ultimately finished with hopefully some decent exhaust comparisons with the larger carburetor... but I don't know exactly what the timeline is. Just wanted to let ya know what's up.

That trace board can be fixed by soldering a piece of copper wire on top between the connections..The sealing varnish must be scraped off with an Exacto knife before solder will stick..

It's an ugly fix (went a little wild with the flux) but it works. I think I'm gonna dig up my hot glue gun and try to secure the wires better in the outlet of the housing. I'll prob put it aside as a spare or for something else as long as the ZX6R assembly will work.
