Today I made a mistake and took a ride with rain . Scoot died few times and scoot was cutting power, but I got home. After that there was smoke near the cylinder head. The scoot started once, after sitting one hour, then did not start at all. I took off the air filter, that I last installed and connected the original airbox to carb. Tomorrow I will clean the original air filter box and carb with carb cleaner and try again. Maybe that will fix the problem.

Well, the scoot did not start today at all. I cranked the motor over so many times, that the battery got flat. I went to nearby automotive shop and brought Benton BX-4 Battery charger (6V and 12V moto/car). I had the same charger, when I had my last scoot:

When the battery gets fully charged, then I will check the spark and spark plug. Maybe it need cleaning.
Right now I´m rendering the RideAlong ScootVlog Part 5 video. I did put the rainy weather clips to that vlog. It will come out soon.

Well, 90GTVert! I took the spark plug out and cleaned it. Before cleaning, it looked like this: I took a video too, before my scoot´s battery died again:

I did not check for spark, but the Trailtech Tach/hour meter showed rpm´s between 900 and 1000.

Today I swaped the old spark plug to a brand new one, tested the spark with both of them. The video is with the new spark plug. The scoot did not start, after swaping the spark plug. Tach showed 1000rpm. Scoot wanted to start, but did´nt.

Alright, now try different throttle positions when starting. Try restricting airflow (covering the airbox inlet) or allowing more (removing the airbox) to see if that gets it. Try adding a few drops of gas in the cylinder or even spraying carb cleaner through the carb or an unlit propane torch in the airbox inlet so it has some fuel for sure and then see if it starts.
