A 2 stroke makes more power per CC but size is what makes it better. Also it is a 4 stroke Hah

That rotary(Wankel) is like all the others, cant be rebuilt under the shade tree by your average southern redneck as tolerances are very close and takes special tooling for repair,,doesnt make 2T power, and is priced so only the rich folk can have them.. Compare its HP/RPM figures to OLD 2T MX motors, doesnt make the grade(my '77 RM250(aircooled) made 47hp),the LC MX250 motors made waay more than that a few years later.. Franken, they have some very high HP snow machines running rubber belt CVT's,work quite well, big a** belt and vari parts also,,popular swaps in the drag race world also.. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrldkXg7-Jowww.youtube.com/watch?v=nQiHWtoBYFMLooks like a future build a scoot with a small Snowmobile engine 900cc is a bit extreme lol. Could probably shove this under the seat bucket with a large radiator and a nice cowl. 600 LC Twin

Looks like this type of variator would wear the weights faster? 400cc variator

Growing up with snowmobiles and riding them almost every weekend in the winter, I've always wanted to throw one in a moped. You'd have to have a wide body though. When you can hit 80+mph on an 500lb+ machine in heavy friction snow, you know there's some serious power going on.

Thats a "center bleed" setup, the dual stuff is 'smoke and mirrors'!Its all old tech that pops up in hopes of selling to the next generation.I tried it a bit till an old timer pipe builder asked, howz all that 2T Goo going to exit the pipe?Well.its NOT!!All of the latest(last)2T road race stuff used a 'nozzle'at the end of the diffuser cone and stinger; Thats a drawing supplied by Frits Overmars on PitLane.biz.. Worlds top tuner Jan Thiel made this brief comment; As far as I know the flow restrictor was first used by Helmut Fath. Its all here; www.pit-lane.biz/t3173-gp125-all-that-you-wanted-to-know-on-aprilia-rsa-125-and-more-by-mr-jan-thiel-and-mr-frits-overmars-part-2-lockedSummary,If the top guns aint using it,then howz it mobetta???

I think the Wankel displacement is correct. They list more engines based on the same size rotor assy with different power levels.
There are some good CVT system components out there, just not for our scoots without tons of mods in a machine shop. The 150cc Gy6 CVT is a slightly better design than the 50cc but still leaves a lot to be desired. It still has the same failure points. With more torque and 50cc ratio gears a centrifugal clutch and a belt/chain may be enough for my application. I don't need high speed. I do need to fit it inside a stock type case so not to attract undue imperial attention.
The J-Costa is a nice design.

Love the way those engines and exhausts sound. That's always been what a two stroke should sound like to me.
