Some one else came up with a geared CVT this one is hydraulic. Holy frictional loss Batman! Is one possible title for that. The other would have to be " I got 99 problems but gears aint one".

I think the hydraulic tractor one is too heavy for a scoot...

Maybe we could make it out of 'dark matter' and it would be so light it would float.
Or we could mount one of those EM drives on a scoot powered with an engine-generator setup.
Maybe a 'transformer' scoot that turns the wheels perpendicular and goes FTL. Crouch down or your head will get left behind by the warp field. Don't even fart or another universe will start with a big bang.
Hmmmmm, maybe we should keep with things that will nominally fit in/around something common like a GY6 case.

Yea a square 2T lol figured it was definitely interesting probably not practical leaving us with the same delema as the good old Wankel as parts aren't readily available. Unless some one mass produced it and it was cheap enough to even be worth it.

The double expansion steam gasoline engine. That concept has been around for a while... Then they add a turbo, does that make it a triple expansion engine? Maybe we could use a gasoline blowtorch with a string of thermoelectric generators some batteries and a hub motor. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermoelectric_generator

I like the concept of TEG some people use peltier devices to make very low output TEG's I tried once with one of those little 12v can coolers it Lit an LED I have also tried to use a peltier cooler on a CPU it died due to condensation but I was able to over clock and keep good temp.

We could also use hydrogen or Brown's gass. link
Also Toyoda came out with the geared CVT system first in the Prius mine does exactly the same thing I wish I remembered that This transmission might have everything needed to experiment with Prius transmission EbAy
