Its clean for a 92 so i dont know if i want to change the aesthetics too much. Its runs like a top right now, it almost fires up before you hit the start button! It has Rhq crank Athena evo 70 lc matched with the case C16 pipe 21 mm carb but may go with nice old sudco TM 24mm i have La furiosa cvt and pulley Aluminum radiator Electric pump Thanks it for the moment. Should be a fun little ride! Just need to make up my mind how i want it to look. My wife will have fun riding it

Wait a second! That is a short case. How the hell did you fit a Malossi overrange cvt in there? The rear torque driver would be too large and a 107mm bell also would not fit unless you intend to keep the CVT open without cover.
Can you please take a super close up picture of that rear CVT area?

I ran it previously on my short case 90. Could never get it perfect so im using it on this build. I was told when i bought it that it was intended for high rpm engines. I ran a cover but it had to be opened up in the back. I will look for a pic. I would not ride even if it would run without cover. With the mhr you have to remove the starter boss. So kickstart only

I also had the 107 bell on there.

I removed the starter already since the Polini Evo variator won't fit with the starter in place. Looking at your image you seem to have plenty of space there around the torque driver.

Thats a 15hp engine right there! Best engine parts combo you can have! Its so funny that a woman is gonna ride that since she's gonna have one of the fastest vehicles in traffic up to 40mph

It isnt pretty but has done the job for a few tbousand miles. The cover still supports the shaft as it needs to be kept from getting yanked forward. There is a bearing in the cover as with most minarelli and mina variations. It stayed so cool in 100d(f) weather i could touch the td when i got home from work. The clutch bell would be a bit warmer but not "hot".

Thanks nelsonSo you basically need to cut out the whole rear part to be able to use the large torque driver and 107mm clutch. What about the engine case? The part behind the torque driver? Did you grind or cut something there?

Here is a top view of the cover. I didnt have to do any mods to the case, this is a case from atv. I have noticed a few differences between it and a yamaha mina. I had to take enough off the cover so the belt wouldn't rub. I think it will fit just fine on yamaha mina, have you been told something else? If so i have plenty of shims and can space it just a bit if need be. It'll work redneck engineering!

Yeah I heard that the overrange torque driver rubs on the rear and therefore some of the case needs to be grinded off same on the front with the cover.
Too bad it is not like a Honda or Suzuki. Those scooters don't have bearings to support the rear shaft and can be driven without CVT cover.

The front is no problem even my overrange Polini Evo variator fits in there. Only the rear area is the problem. I have 2 spare CVT covers I'll see what I can come up with.
