Its in the mount bracket. The frame is square up. Theres a slight pull in the right bushing on the bracket, gonna yank the bushing, tap the bushing mount back down and weld it up. Or get a new bracket lol

I have the technigas next r. Not a bad pipe, not very expensive and gets the red line up to about 10-11k. i'd like to look into the stealth pipes first, but yes, the nexrR is on my list if i dont find a stealth i want to run. So far if i were to get a stealth, it'dd be the silent pro

I had a Silent Pro on my Pink Scoot and it was nice and quiet and I felt a power boost. Unfortunately it didn't clear the body on bumps.

I was gonna get a stealth or "street" pipe, but if you look at the power numbers, expansion chambers are where it's at. The problem for me was powerband- expansion chambers have a powerband that's very high in the rpm range, and a lot louder. I think there's a link somewhere to an exhaust dyno test, that's how I made my decision. There's a few expansion chambers that make power down low (6k and above). The other thing to think about is overrev- street pipes like the wild lion don't always let the motor Rev very high, and that's where the top speed comes from.

I ain't lookin for a speedlist screamer on this scoot, more like a around towner with some backroad sightseeing. I have some future plans for the screamer - and MN will want me to get my MC plates and endorsement for it since that one will be very difficult to stealth. There are a couple people here with some knowledge of this top secret plan. Don't worry, there will be a thread on it as i begin my reveal. But for now, a basic 50mph runner that gets me around town is my end goal for this. Truing up my alignment, balancing wheels, new front fork with disc brakes, carb, stealth exhaust, and cvt/gear tuning, then wrapping it in clean plastics. Good and done.

I paid like 40 more bucks for mine! Haha, I guess I'm a sucker.

Don't get me wrong, i do plan to nab one up, but not quite yet. The scooter scene is just starting to make an appearance here and i'm still trying to help fan the spark. If i go too big fresh out of the gate, this sleepy little town will have a fit. So between my tame 2stroke and my wife's 4poke, we're just keeping it mellow for now. I can't really draw a whole lot of attention to my scooter just yet, but that may change after a while.

www.pedparts.co.uk/blog/tecnigas-exhaustI've been examining this series of graphs already. Point in case, this series of tests does compare a LOT of exhaust pipes, and i don't deny the reputation of the nextR or the yasuni c16, but i'm looking at the gains they show over stock as well, especially on the polini sport 70. The silent pro fits the profile i'm looking for with the gains and breathing this cylinder needs over stock. I just wish that the stage6 street exhaust, malossi wild lion, and the leo vince sp3 had some comparison tests done as well. I get it. Trust me i do. Expansion chamber pipes -out perform- standard look (stealth) pipes, but the stealth pipes offer a quieter ride and don't draw attention based on its appearance while still allowing -some- performance gains. Thats why i'm looking into these style pipes. Its not a matter of how much it will cost, i would pay $250 if it fits the look and quieting criteria first, performance gains next. I just can't afford a blown cylinder over a seriously restricted stock exhaust that i currently have.

There is a pretty simple way on removing your cat from the exhaust. You should need something like a plasma cutter and cut a small door into the exhaust,,, whack out the cat and fold it back and weld. I have just got word from my hubby that a guy in our town has a dyno. I wonder if you can find some specific results on your scoot without the cat. I am also interested to know how much the cat restricts. Eclark , I believe mentioned around $40 to use the dyno. I'm don't recall if that's per hour or per run. - and yes! I understand, we all have different needs for me the next R seems like a good pipe to start since I also plan to use my stock crank just for a little bit OR until I build enough confidence to crack the cases open

I would like to see it done before i sacrifice my only pipe to this. If i dont get it right, i'd have no exhaust at all for this scooter at this point.

So... i realize a lot of people can hit 40+ on their stockers, mine is stuck at 40 with a 70 kit. I've gps'd it a dozen times now. I don't have any mechanical restrictors (other than this damn exhaust) but i would think it can get past this literal 40mph hurdle with a stock exhaust, downhill with the wind...
Time to replace my cdi... i'm pretty sure its holding me back. Plenty of unrestricted ones on flea-bay for 10 bucks plus shipping...

Unfortunately I don't have a plasma cutter readily available I can't see the cat removal "ruining" your exhaust... just more flow? I know the cat is just an emissions device, but maybe just a little AF mix adjustment. I do plan on getting another scoot to do some stock comparisons on, but that probably won't be for another month or so until it warms up. The only thing I can really imagine needing to be perfect is welding it back up... here is a pic/and vid showing a cat removal from a car. The video is under 3minutes long... so assuming you have the tools!

I don't think your bike has a catalytic converter, but it might. Stopping at 40 seems like a rpm restriction from the cdi to me, but don't expect to get much more than 5-10 MPh over stock w/o gears. And that's with a bbk, good pipe and full cvt/clutch tune.

And not all 70cc kits are equal- the cheaper cast iron bbks (like mine) aren't gonna put out much more power than stock, maybe 7-10 hp
