Thank you Benji!
I called SSS to get their input yesterday. I asked if a prebug stem was interchangeable with a jog stem. They were pretty confident that a pre bug would be wider than a jog.
My thoughts are to run an MBK stem with 26mm legs and a metro axle/wheel. The stem is the biggest part of the equation.
EDIT: isn’t the MBK the same as a pre-bug?

@atariguy Are you aiming to go with 12” or 13” Wheels? I’m waiting for you to pull the trigger on that stem first I want to stick with a skinny 10” front end on mine and I think the wide front end meant to accept a 13” wheel would look odd with a skinny 10.”

Mbk is Yamahas french brand. They sell prebug style sccoters (boosters) and some other bikes, including a version of the aerox called the nitro. As far as width I'm not sure but as far as stem a jog and prebug should be the same.

Oh yeah - by the way, i'm moving to Tennessee in less than a year. Knoxville area. Anyway, i'm aiming for a 150/60-13 rear tire, and a 110/90-13 front. The crazy plan i'd had before was an 80/90-16 front on the pitbike fork with the wide rear tire. And an upper framebrace. With a custom gastank on it. And an ammo can electronics box. And 6" rise handlebars. A bobber-scoot. With an angry chainsaw engine...

So i discovered a thing. My air filter keeps sepqrating the snorkel to the carb. At the moment i'm using RTV to affix the snorkel to the airbox as a temporary fix, but since this is becoming an issue, i want to try a pod filter - preferrably a K&N style over a uni pod type filter. And since i'm on my backup cylinder, it'll give me a good ballpark idea where i need to jet my carb for the filter. Now the question is - what size filter fits the stock carb?
