tsimi you posted a pic of a scooter shop with a 2 stroke jog hanging from the ceiling in another thread. What was the name of the shop and where was it? Im going to osaka and tokyo late oct to nov. Last year I could only find parts for my Honda super dio zx at upgarage riders. Im looking for other shops to vist. BTW your jogs are awsome! Sorry for my late reply. A lot bad shit going on lately. The shop with the hanging Jog was 2輪館 (ni rinkan or 2 rinkan). However that particular shop closed down almost 2 years ago. There are other 2 Rinkan shops which might still have 2T parts but they are not in the used parts business. Not sure what happened to that hanging Jog though. Probably moved to another store? Sorry to here about your bad luck. Ill look up rinkan on google. BTW your jog is coming along nice. I read the thread from the begining. Maybe one day I have a jog cv50 imported. If you are free around oct 24-30 Id love to see your bike in person.

Thanks. Took long to get where it is and still not done yet. This year is just not my year. Financial issues, health issues and now a recent death in the family. I must be cursed at the moment. I do hope that I can proceed with the build and get that front fork assembly done asap.
I should be free on 26-27 (weekend) so yeah sure you can come and have a look at it. I live in Takatsuki City so if this isn't too far for you let me know and we can meet up.

Thanks for the offer but i'm good. The only thing that matters is that you arrive sound and safe to Japan and have a great time here.

Happy New Year! During the holidays I finally found time and motivation to work on this build. Unfortunately I am stuck again. It's always the little things that bring this build to a halt. I finally swapped the front assembly and the good news is the front fork fits and the fairing doesn't need any trimming. Also sitting on the scooter now is nice and well balanced. Confident to drive it even at fast speeds. The bad news are, I'll need a longer axle bolt (genuine Yamaha Aerox) which is some sort of a unicorn to find let alone two of them. If anyone can help me acquire two axle bolts (5BR-F2141-00-00) I would really be thankful. Link to shop page or anything like that is fine.I need a different caliper bracket. The one I bought is not a match. As you'll see in the images below the brake pads don't grab the whole disc. Looks like I'm in need of one that looks like this one here S6-140064 . Another unicorn which is not available at aliexpress. Meaning it's gonna cost more than I would like. I need to find a longer side stand that fits or buy the expensive stage 6 racing stand. Haven't decided yet. side stand too short, temporary solution
Wrong caliper bracket

Have you tried sourcing an axle based on length and diameter instead of a specific part number?

Did you try to slot the caliper bracket holes to give you play to move caliper up and down

What diameter is the rotor?
You couldn't slot those enough to get it close.. it's way out

JwhoodI think i could slot the bottom bracket hole but that would still not be enough. The top bracket hole has not enough space. And there are threats cut in those holes so that would be also an issue to solve if i would slot the holes. pitobreadIt's a 220mm rotor. Another alternative would be to swap the rotor to something like 260mm which would be cheaper than sourcing that stage 6 bracket.

CMSNL have the axle as well as the one that superseded it in stock, far from cheap though.

Have you tried sourcing an axle based on length and diameter instead of a specific part number? Unfortunately as always there is barely any info available. They don't write length or with. Even asking for that info ends up in silence. The current axle is the same that i use for over a year on my Prebug. It's a Zuma 2T axle and the selflock nut is just flush on it. It holds just fine but normally the bolt should be at least 5mm longer than the nut head so that the selflock thing can grab on it. Which it doesn't now. Never had issues on my Prebug but on a hyper race build i would like to have that peace of mind.

If your current axle is 5mm shorter, get us a measurement of its length and diameter and that will give us an idea of what you need,,,
