I don't think the prebug fits (vert), though I may be wrong. But the bugeye axle is specd like the Aerox 100. So they're bigger than most minarellis. I think you could find gears cheaper than rims.

That front fender confuses me. Drift stitches so it looks like plastic but it is rusty.
Otherwise I approve.

“Plastina”
Something in a shed dissolved the color, maybe rusty water dropped on it.. idk.
Leaving it, not touching it, scared of the plague

After much back and forth, we decided on mounting both radiators as they can profit from the huge 'speedholes' we already cut for the fork. I started folding back the fins on the radiator so it looks a little uniform, wasn't the most careful. Got a new sheet metal brake today so will create a box around the radiators. See below a very loose mockup. Then waiting on CVT cover, to be drilled out, rear wheel and the box to be done so we can then break everything down again and give frame, wheel and other stuff to the powder coater to be painted in black. Furthermore, currently waiting on a Malossi Overrange (steel one), Kieseler intake, machined for 24mm and a fitting clutch bell. it also recieved a new 120/90-10 front wheel. I am really glad we stuck to the puffy balloon tires, they really fit the look. I also realized. So this is the OG Grandfather to the Prebug, huh....

Air conditioning! So I made a bracket for the radiator today with my fancy new brake. (Yes I drilled an extra hole by accident...) And then i spent the evening making a box for the radiator. Still a bit boxy, it will very likely be a bit more rounded when bent. Also ordered a dimple die to give the bracket a little extra structure, and I am thinking of making a hidden oil can compartment.

Rear wheel problem solved thanks to benjiA big box from Europe is on the way with a lot of mystery stuff that i dont even know about. But it def. includes a cvt cover. Once that is here and cut some stuff (incl the new wheel) is going to powdercoating.

Speedholes! Finally got my Euro CVT cover. I actually ended up with two. 1 = Typical early '00 Mianrelli. The other said '90 although i assume it is '06. Either way, that one is from a NEOS/MBK Ovetto and I liked the style a lot more. So before they went off to powdercoating we drilled the living sh*t out of them for some extra cooling. The pattern looks all over the place but it is not, we specifically avoided all structural reinforcements in the casting. Also good chance to test out the new engine stand from our forum's own hppowdercoating. Then we also matched the ignition cover. And finished by mounting another cool "oldschool" part a Kiesler Minarelli intake spacer.

I set the timing today, 2.5mm before TDC is where I feel i can start, time will tell. HPI says 2-4, the Germans say 2.5. So 2.5 it is. Then i rounded up the transmission parts. Seems I was missing a rear pulley spring, the one from the Rattler 110 does not fit. And then tomorrow I need to make an adapter plate, piaggio to Mina so i can use this oldschool Kiesler intake.

So, covers, frame and wheel are off to the powdercoating. I finalyl found the third pin I lost from the Malossi rear pulley, it was in my washing machine... So i put together the rear Malossi Pulley. I chose the DOT opening curve. I got a NCY 2000 RPM red spring. I then swapped the springs on the Artek clutch and released them after full turn by four turns, 3.2mm out. I can adjust this while it is on the bike so i should be easy enough. Then I went upstairs to my wife with the entire assembly in my hand: "Do you remember this game (from the typhoon)?" and pushed down the assembly and she swiftly tightened it down. Lastly, I mounted the front variator. Reminder, this is a Polini Speedcontrol with 3.2g i think... and a bead blasted stock fan pulley (for grip) And then i butchered on the CDI, and sprayed some carb cleaner down the carb. We have a few fires and spark!
