I welded tabs to the frame. Bringing them out a inch or two away from the frame and fairings. Your most likely gonna have to cut the fairings somehow. Maybe a smaller radiator can me mounted outside

Here we go.... Started matching the cases today, and cut in that oh so famous flow "port" for Minarelli. Broke through with the studs, but all good, Epoxy is drying as we speak. Going to leave it there, smoothen it up, then blast it. Also opened the intake for a Polini Big Valve. And then lastly i had some fun with raisin bread for the blind bearing.

Smoothened out my work and blasted as finish. Then got impatient ant kinda stuck it all together for ... a picture I guess. Well that is not correct, i wanted to make sure the Vespa Smallframe studs I have fit. They do.

Alright, what a day. A lot of ups and downs. So sit back, settle in, story time: I started today's session with installing the main bearings. A breeze. i then headed to the hardware store to buy some M6 bolts long enough and closed the cases. after a little centering, the crank turns like a pro. I then dedicated some time into making a makeshift slide hammer out of a wall anchor and some hardware to remove the second blind bearing for the transmission. Before installing new ones, I made sure to remove all possible friction. Then i installed the cylinder and the intake. Not the long studs.. Vespa Smallframe... It is sitting at an easy 1.0mm squish right now. I am happy to drop down but I think less is more for what we will use this. Mocked up the PWK 24. Ran again to the hardware store for some Stainless and closed the Trans cover. Also installed the transmission, duh. I think to remember it is a 22% longer. I should have counted. I then installed the CVT, Polini Speedcontrol The original fixed pulley had baked in belt on it. So i gave it a good blast. Sure to shred more belt but also better power trans. It only lasts a few miles anyway. At least its clean now. i did not install the clutch nor the proper belt, i need a contra spring, super hard and a better clutch bell. the SX 86 I have is for Piaggio.... I then also mocked up the HPI ignition, it is by no means set properly yet. And then FInally, i realised I totally goofed. I have the WRONG CVT cover. I was not unaware that there were differences, i guess that is what I get for dabbling too much in Vintage scooters. Anyone can help me out/trade/sell?

What are the cases from? Euro long horizontal covers don't fit the NA YW cases. I think like two holes line up. If you've got a Euro you can run all the cool aftermarket covers.
Same deal with the final drive cover.

yeah they are from a '02/'03 Yamaha NEOS. AC with drums.
It wasn't in the budget, which sucks. Ideally I would like to get a stock Yamaha cover from '03, that would look so rad.

I might have a CVT cover that has "age related scuffs" if you can,t find one stateside ,dog dirt cheap if you can sort shipping from England.

Put a new tire on the rear just to notice/:
Zuma wheels don’t fit Minarelli
Any ideas?

Don’t fit as in gear spline or spacing? Got a picture of your gear, the profile between axle and wheel varies even if the same count. Some are more of a V and others are U shaped as in the teeth.

The zuma profile is too large, the axle is simply smaller.
I am thinking prebug might fit. Trying to stay 10", 130/90 balloon tires really fit the build.
