It's amazing how those bigger wheels have changed the look. It's gone from shopping getter, to street racer.

Well it is all apart again, currently wiring.
I goofed and shortened my old S6 speedo, now i wonder what other solution there are out there?
I wouldnt mind a Vapor, but the problem is that it doesnt rev over 12k, is that correct?

Hey,
So it’s been a while, I have been mostly busy on TST vintage bikes, but once in a while my buddy and I get time work on this. Just like today. We finalized the radiator mounts and plumbed everything. Still have to cut holes in the floorboard for the routing. 95% of the wiring is done, a regulator/rectifier still needs to find its spot. I did make a mount in the dash for a Trailtech vapor. All that is hooked up and works phenomenally well off the battery. The bike also fired up and idled. But we had no water so... yeah. Fuel tank is set up for gravity feed. We had to extend the length of the intake otherwise the carb wouldn’t fit, although that will fuck with our powerband, it’s a necessary evil. There is almost no space on this. Brake line is ran, need to route throttle and rear brake. And then I think we can ride it.

Well, IT RUNS.
This is a quick upload, this is legit the first ride ever. The fear is real. Now the long carb adjustment begins. Once the dash is fully installed it will be easier to monitor RPM, I think we are still about 2-3k rpm off powerband. Gonna button it up tomorrow and do a proper photo session.
Still a lot of work to do in terms of fine tuning, but that is like.. my favorite.

A quick first run up and down the street graced us with an easy 62mph without running out of CVT. I think the spring is a little too soft and the clutch is way to early. the entire CVT feels quite comfy at 12000ish RPM. But oh boy is it fun to see it rip up and down the street.

Readjusted the clutch and CVT and it is incredibly twitchy now
Couldn’t be happier
Burnout happened.
