I'd like to learn some background on the exhaust ports. They are all narrower at the bottom and fairly square across the top. A long time ago they were squared across the bottom, and rounded across the top. This was true of piston port, reed valve or rotary valve.

Airsal Xtreme 77 minarelli. The head sits 1.5mm into the cylinder, so subtract 1.5mm from measurements. Exhaust port has been smoothed out, originally it was more rectangular.   |
