Sorry for the old thread bump.
Speedfight 1/2 cylinders will bolt onto an AF16/18. These came in both LC and AC it is direct bolt on. There are other peugeots that also use these same cylinders.
You will need to stack or make a custom base gasket and check your squish. IF you use OEM gaskets you will find the piston hits the head. I believe I used a 1mm gasket.
From all my research yes, you can bolt the water pump off a speedfight on to an AF16/AF18 flywheel side. it may require custom drive bushings to actually get the thing to drive. I went with an aftermarket Bosch electric automotive pump because it was stupid cheap and put it on a buck converter to drop the voltage to 9v to underdrive it as it was way overkill.
I have personally used speedfight cylinders on a AF18.
Here is my own question to this tho, Does anyone know if the crank from a Dio is the same dimension wise as a Gyro crank if you forget that the oil injector part is wrong?

I have found one Youtube video that showed this done and a few mentions that I don't recall where I saw them. I will see if I can dig it back up. I personally haven't done it simply because it cost more to get the Speedfight pump than a brand new Bosch electric.

Thank you sir. Will check it out. Sadly I was taken down a couple pegs this past week with kidney stone issues again. I would really like to go with the pump cover option and sacrifice some power vs relying on the very endemic charging system these scooters have.
