Absolutely..... I am a firm believer in rejetting carbs also.. it works..lol IF your gonna run the stock airbox, you may not need to rejet, just do a plug test to verify

You can order the jets you think you'll use or you can "drill" them out yourself with a "torch tip" cleaner and "micro drill-bits". I have a nice lil jet setup....lol i had learned to drill myself and solder back up. It's not as bad as it sounds....lol

You will have to jet a cpl times a yr with the seasons, if you go on vacation, etc. and take your scoot, you'll have to retune for THAT erea..... Everytime i touch the scoot, the cvt will change for example. And of course, for me anyway here in the mtns., the temp, humidity, etc., will make the scooter run different everytime...(last yr., it could change daily : But man, when you catch a win, the feeling is awesome.(i just hope i'll be good enough to catch many wins... )

Hey man, well it's sortof one of those things that it's gonna be trial & error and/or ALOT of reading and clicking the mouse.. I am still learning this carb jetting/tuning wrap and i am asking ? on 3 forums bugging ppl... But this link here is a good reader. I printed this oone and am still trying to comprehend some of it. I am better with "hands-on". The jetting will be relevant to where you are living/riding, mods, etc. Anyway here's the link.... justkdx.dirtrider.net/carbtuning.htmlI do think you'll be safe taking a 90mj, leave the pj for now(if your drilling yourself), And do a plug chop and see what it looks like and go from there. If you go to big on the jet, place it on the stove and heat, melt thin solder back in the hole, take the drill bit of your choice and redrill the hole, do a plug test and see what's up..... PPl say that's always best to go big, just to make certain your gonna be rich(ly). To me, having to drill them out, that makes it more difficult,(for me), easier to drill up, vs. having to solder back up and redrill. I have a 90 in a 19mm arreche carb(95 is on the richer side), Your carb is a PB16, The oem mj differs from place to place, (idk if you ever said your mj size now)(i'm thinking 75-80), If 75-go to 85, if 80-try a 90.(when using micro bits, the size is very likely to be different than a "real"mj, just measure the bit(ie:.965=97mj, etc.) Sorryu for the long post bbut i hope this helps out...

With an exhaust, you may be ok with the oem airbox but if you place the pipe AND open air filter you WILL have to upjet....(+ you get more out of her with jetting..lol)

where is a good place to get jets and do they come in kits because that would be even better like 85-100 size jets so like a package of 15 that would be the best

thanks i installed everything but the contra and clutch spring im waiting for them to come in the mail. the scoot runs AW SOME now im truly in love lol. I'm going with the 1500 contra and 2000 rpm spring. and will adjust my roller weights. should you go up in roller weights when you upgrade these springs?

The 1500 may be a bit to stiff for a "stock" setup. I would thing the 1000 would be good... Yeah, if you install the stiffer contra you will need to add weight on the rollers. Maybe like a 1g(ie:6's go to 7's,etc.) That's awesome news that your happy with it atm.....(the "bug" will get you now....lol)
