A handheld torch (like the bernzomatic) can work fine with some patience and practice... as long as you can find map gas and brazing rod. It takes ALOT of practice, but it DOES work.
P.s.: that doesn't look like a 2 stoke pipe to me. Maybe you got one for a gy6?

Damn, the 139qmb's look just like the 140qmbs! Haha. I've been looking at too many Chinarelli clones lately hha.

There's obviously something wrong here because that pipe should not be that far off.

Anyways, here's the bernzomatic torch I got. Comes with a hip-holster for the tank and torch head, works awesome for dabs too haha.

If you've gotta 150cc gy6 (what the pic looks like to me) then you should be able to buy a new exhaust that fits.

Its for a xingyue ita 150. The Chineese all but abandoned the design and parts are not easy to find. The late Bluefront from another forum had a similar problem when he had to replace his head. That was when you could get the parts.

Mini butane works just fine It does, but one day my little butane torch ran out, and we started using a bernzo torch like that at my dispensary for selling dabs, w propane canisters. It was actually way cheaper and longer lasting haha.

Some of the heads for the gy6 have the exhaust clocked at a different angle than the more common heads. Solution is to have the flange cut off and rewelded, or buy a complete exhaust. I dont think heating/bending will work, the angle is too great and you will risk kinking the pipe. i5.photobucket.com/albums/y159/Bluefront/scooters/GY6Bhead1.jpg

Man, I hate to say it, but maybe cut your losses and buy a new gy6 motor? How much could it be? You can get a while 150cc 4t scooter for cheap if you look hard enough..

Honestly, just look around and email a few welders, or muffler shop whatever you can. Like others say, and I agree, the amount that it is sticking out seems waaay off. This is how far my exhaust was with my new MOTOFORCE BBK.... and that being said I didn't think I could figure it out. I know there are members here who have had to fabricate new brackets and such from this issue. Look into it before you go drop more cash on a new kit! Who knows it might not fit either. I'm trying to get your hopes up first! Because after dealing with this issue, now i basically have the feeling that none of the pipes I buy will fit on THIS kit. But it doesn't bother me anymore. Just git Er done!!?!

Never heard of it before just now. I thought i searched every scooter and atv site on the net. Although it is a 2 bold valve cover (I'm just guessing) the valve cover looks different.
