The S9 which is setup for LC already and has a much sportier profile shorter wheelbase and tighter turn radius than the Like but will sooner or later be on Like once rebuilt or on a ruck frame when I build one

I have an MHR 77, Roost 86 pipe, 28mm pwk, moto tassinari reed block and an inner rotor iggy and my Zuma was starting to slow down at 69. Not sure what it'll do as I haven't had the chance yet, but I'm thinking it won't be much faster than 75. with 11:1 gears. Just using that as an example. And Pigs 86 just gets into the low 80's

The Stage6 kits rev higher than Malossi as is this one will have work yours ain't got done to it as will case. . . plus over range CVT kit and gears and C16 pipe I don't doubt I push the edge one of only 3 Kymco Likes in the world been over 60mph lol not worried bout pushing this engine alot further especially with beefier internals. . .

My cases have been worked and I have the Malossi over range. My cylinder also says it makes 25 hp. I'll be safe and say 20 hp. But, like I mentioned before, I haven't had the chance to really test it out. Maybe mine will reach 80, but I can't call it right now because I just don't know

I believe with work on case and jug the Like 50 AC engine will hit 70+ none of us ever really pushed it there I was at 70MPH at less than 10Krpm and 65mph all day at 9600RPM the Tecnigas TRIOPS seems to be the only pipe out there that will fit the Like that has the potential for that high rpm powerband. I have no doubt looking at the info that the Euro engine will be 70mph right off the bat just due to the work to case and kit from Joe. I told Brandon I wanted a 70mph dependable daily with more in the tank if needed and I have no reason to think he's lead me astray. thats just with basic stuff with the higher parts as I said I expect more from more. . . .

Cases could be aerox, sr50 or malaguti f12 or f15.
I think you're a little bit too optimistic about the streetrace. The streetrace 'can' do 70mph with a c16 and upgears. Just make sure the timings are up to it. It'll need porting no doubt.
On the other hand, a cast iron cylinder isn't the best choice for a performance build imo. You have to be very careful with piston clearance and make sure to warm up te motor very good prior to going WOT or do some high speed riding.
Hey, have fun with your build. Show us we're wrong and make it to the 70mph club!

I take it neither of y'all know Joe. . . .lol. . .just saying I do not in the least bit doubt y'alls knowledge and skills but I KNOW I couldhave got 70 on the Like with gears and a lil better tuning on my part and and I did that all by myself lol. This is being done by the guy who is considered the master in this area with all Stage6 internals as compared to stock I did mine on. The one guy everyone in the performance 2T scene in the US seems to know and the only guy Brandon Saylor from scooter swap shop will use.

I'm not here to doubt your claims. 60mph cruise no big deal. Good 70 or 90/103 ac build would do. 70mph gps cruise takes some power. Aluminum kits can be all day reliable also. Wouldn't take as much work to get to the power level required. Build it yourself or have a pro put it together your choice. However considering the rpm and power level you are after I would use a 12mm piston pin instead of a reducer bearing. That pin bearing is a high stress item and the bigger one is extra insurance

Did the cases come trenched already? Or did your builder do that?

I'll start with this kit and go from there I've already spent over $1200 on the case, crank, bearings and seals, and BBK, and the work that Joe is doing with another $1000 going into it to complete it I'm sure. She may not be as fast as I want when all is said and done but I'm gonna keep saying it till she isn't lol. . . .

Did the cases come trenched already? Or did your builder do that? he sent pics of first rough cuts and will send more as he completes it been wanting work from him for almost a yr now and I believe my engine is the last he's working on for quite some time as to focus on his personal builds.

I just stopped counting the costs of my 70mph daily because i got a little depressed from it!
