Replace the piston. Check for clearance on reassembly. May have to trim the piston skirts to avoid contact. It's not a common thing on a standard stroke engine, but pistons aren't always made the same way.

Taking the paint off this frame is kicking my ass. I wish there was a better way but I just don't have the energy to do it now a days.

Maybe try aircraft stripper? or in a very well ventilated spot, use acetone and old shop rags. I removed a lot of paint from -metal- with nail polish remover, just make sure you don't use it on any plastics you care about.

Any suggestions on which kind? At this point I need something that'll make the paint fall off cause I'm close to saying screw it and painting over. Bubbled paint, paint flakes, and all.

Also my friend accidentally knocked screws from different projects into the screws for the scooter, so now I'm fucked with that. I need to order new screws cause otherwise I don't know what's what.

I don't know of anything that makes it just fall off. I've only used Rustoleum Aircraft Stripper before and it needs to be scraped/brushed off after.
Bolts and screws aren't that tough. I would not order all new hardware. You can usually figure out what's what as you go, it's just a little more time consuming. I mean most are M6, so you're just deciding on lengths needed and head type usually. There's less big stuff so that's easier.

I'll give it a try. When it comes to a pipe, I can do a simple motion to get it off, but once I hit something it stars to tear up my hands or is to hard to get off. The different angles to the different bars and stuff is just what does it. I'll try the aircraft stripper you mentioned.

Taking the paint off this frame is kicking my ass. I wish there was a better way but I just don't have the energy to do it now a days. The hardware or auto parts store will have chemical stripper. You'll need chem gloves, wire brush (wood handle), metal putty knife, and open air. This stuff will not only strip paint off, it will burn skin, melt plastic, etc. And the fumes a gnarly as well. But it'll take a lot less time and energy (only thing easier would be having someone else sand blast it).

I'll try the aircraft stripper you mentioned. It works like what hillbilly described, so if you don't like that then there may be no point. I got it at WalMart for ~$10 though, so it's not expensive to try. I just don't think anything, aside from some sort of media blasting as mentioned, is going to make the paint just fall off or wash off effortlessly. When I stripped a wheel I gave it one application of aircraft stripper and scraped and washed, then applied it again to all the spots that didn't come off easy. It wasn't that bad, but it still does take a good bit of time.
