I ordered a 70kit this morn, sure was hard locating 1 with a 15mm wrist pin ( humiliated ) Any way I also have some jets coming 95,98&100 I will be using a stock airbox & carb for now, I think when I go to a uni or k&n it will be best to get a better carb too I'm thinkin mikuni or arreche... but that's gonna be down the road a bit

I got a 21mm Dellorto like new for $30 shipped of e-bay. Those sound like too big of mains if you are gonna use the stock air box. But what do i know, i was tuning a motor with blown seals lol.

Looking good man, keep it up. That crack was worse than i thought ! Good call on replacement , that wouldnt have lasted long... Nothing wrong with your puller, mine was a hammer, a rubber one but a hammer non the less. Dont worry i didnt beat your case lol . BTW: Nice fuel delivery set-up, i have been meaning to do that myself.

My bbk shipped a few days ago & tonite I thought I'd clean the engine and start reassembling it I planned on using a little black permatek rtv sealant where the cases meet Does any body have any tips for a 2t noob ? When assembling the top end... should I use a dab of grease on the wrist pin bearing or is 2stroke oil sufficent to use as assembly lube? TIA

This stuff? If so im not sure if it will hold or not, it never really sets up all the way? The peeps at the other 2t freak forums suggest hondabond. One guy swears by permatex motoseal1 Just use two cycle oil as a pre-lube on everything. Make sure to pre-lube your exhaust or you will be asking for dry fumes

Threebond 1194 is good for sealing the cases. 2T oil works fine as assembly lube.
