Thanks guys for the pics and explanations . I actually got it sorted before the replies , but hopefully it may help someone else who like me is doing this for the first time .
I will be delivering the frame to the painter this week and he's not sure how long it will take until he sees it himself and we decide exactly what we are going to do .. It shouldnt be more than a couple of weeks though .
The more I see of this bike ( you see everything good and bad when you pull it apart into a million pieces ) I worry about how much it has been flogged and abused . The previous owners got their money's worth out of it and I fear for the engine which was the selling point when I originally bought it .
I have decided to build my own motor ( well actually have someone who knows what they are doing build it for me ) from the motor and cases of another Aerox I own but havent picked up yet . It is about 1000km away ( 600 miles ) and I will be picking it up next month when I travel there for family business.
Reading through other build threads here it seems everyones build morphs and transitions as it goes along and it seems mine is no different . Mine may not be as extreme as some here but I do want to do it right and using beatup parts from the original bike isnt the correct course of action in my opinion . It going to cost me heaps more , but " Such is Life " .

Sweet build going on I like what your doing with the half naked look. You got the vision and so far you got the execution to boot

Don't stress about it. If you don't like it, just keep telling yourself you do like it. Then, eventually, you'll believe yourself and actually like it.

The frame is at the paint shop , and " What will be , will be " He said it will be ready a week from now , so it finally feels like the build has begun . Parts are arriving slowly and I'll introduce them to the thread as they are bolted on , but Im super happy with one in particular . I found a carbon rear fender forsale on " Gumtree " our Australian equivalent of Craigslist and couldnt let it get away . Ken

I have a similar one but it's made for the Zuma motor and doesn't fit mine so well.

I just realised that that link is for a 10 inch wheel fender . I didnt have any luck with that web site , but do they also list a 13 inch like I have ? Or am I quite lucky like the seller said in getting a 13 inch Aerox one because they are rare .

If you look at the fitment list it fits every Aerox ever made.
