Maybe I'm wrong, but a 26 sounds a bit big for a 70cc sport cylinder. Hell, I ran mhr rep cylinder on a 19mm Del and it ran great. 21 would have been better, but I had the 19, it worked and so I just left it.

I was taking a total guess at 26mm, just been seeing people run big PWK carbs!
I've got a 19mm clone of the stock carb to go on, but even after porting the inlet manifold with my Dremel I feel it's going to be a restriction on flow compared to the ports and carb.

19-21 should do well. You could go 26, but if you find most of your throttle happens in the first half of twisting the throttle, you've gone too big. Its the best way i can explain it

Your fuel tank looks small. Kinda similar size to my Prebug. How much fuel can you fill till it's full?
Considering the tank size maybe a 19mm should do fine and give you some driving distance. If the tank is bigger then a 21mm would be a good choice.
If you still for what ever reason want to go bigger then I can recommend a Mikuni 24mm.

I think the tank holds about 5L the same as my Suzukis?
Am looking at intake options now

First start tomorrow! Am lost looking at carbs, so many different PWK/Oko options! Stage6 seems to be the most highly recommended intake for the Hondas from what I can see, still need to buy the adapter for the PWK to suit. Could get an Aliexpress one for less than 1/4 the price Then do I go genuine Keihin, Polini, Oko, Kitaco, Naraku or one of the countless Chinese options. /Will see how it goes with the 19mm for now anyway!

I wouldn't go bigger than a 21.
19 would probably be ideal for overall driveablility and fuel consumption.
I love this build, keep it up.
I assume you use Dio cylinders, if you can find a 50mm cast cylinder kit you can hit 82cc without any case mods. More jam.
EDIT: What crank is that, is it a Dio crank or a gyro specific one?

Cylinder is listed for Honda Lead, Gyro, SH50 and Puegeot Metropolis, not sure what exactly is different to the Dio ones but it is a different Malossi part number at least. Crank is Gyro specific, the oil pump is on the opposite side of the engine compared to any other Honda 2t I can find online. There is a stroker crank available for the Gyro, I was close to getting one but time vs $$ ruled it out for me for this build, with the WeBike cash back points, KN Planning parts being on special and then also having a 7% discount code for black Friday on top of the other discounts I got this uprated crank delivered to NZ for a good amount less than it would have been just to get the stroker to tsimi to be on-sent here!! This isn't the end for this build though, I am 100% committed to doing a stroked Minarelli hybrid engine in the future, probably water cooled. Just need to find a Yamaha engine (3KJ?) for the right $$, keep finding Chinese engines but I think if I'm going to do it I should start with a genuine Yammy. Got the engine mounted up this evening, swingarm pivot has decided it no longer wants to lock so it's all got to come back out so I can figure out WTF has gone wrong! Can feel the lock trying to clip into the slots but it's not going in far enough to lock Had to shorten the throttle cable up a bit, the new carb would only open to about 3/4 on the 19mm carb. One rear brake isnt releasing smoothly so needs a do over. Oh and I believe I promised a start up video? OK! Sorry about the audio, my phone is crap and I didn't want to wait for my Mrs to get home to record it on her phone. Sounds angry in person

Raizer Just as info, I should have 2 stripped down 5BM engines somewhere packed away. I can tell you already shipping is gonna cost 2 arms and a leg though. If you can you should stick to the 3YK engine since it uses the regular size reed block and intake which gives you a better selection on after market parts.

Raizer, I am curious if that crank would work in a Dio.... any chance you could do some measures of the shaft lengths left to right, the bearing journal ID and the web to web thickness and dia? Even the old OEM crank would probably work.
Reason I ask is that looks more like a HPC/stuffer crank than even the Malossi "HPC" crank, which to be honest looks like a shiny oem style crank.
