What size rollers does it use. I have some Stage6 tuning rollers for the standard Yamaha variator and I'll never use them. You can have them for the price of shipping from 89145 (Las Vegas). I also have boxes of springs that'll never be used, most where for the Stage6 MkII clutch. I could get you measurements if you want.

I'd happily take you up on your offer! But mine takes 16x13 rollers and I'm guessing yours are 15x12?

I would be thinking along those lines too. Especially when you are going to be changing rollers a lot.

I may have some that size from my Honda days, but you should be able to get a pack of tuning rollers fairly cheap from China or Taiwan. I would think shipping from the states maybe more money than from mainland China to you.

Am getting told prices ranging from $23 to $40 for 6 rollers here in NZ! WeBike have them from $5 but not a lot of weights in stock.
Going to try it with just 3x8g and go from there.

Those clutches are great. So adjustable, and my easy to change the springs. Not cheap though.

You can find koso brand stuff on eBay for cheap. You can get a cheap multi pack and when you find the sweet spot order some nice malossi or other brand name roller. Also, I had a malossi multivar kit in my aero50 with a fly clutch and polini belt, it was a nice setup. I'm pretty sure the af05 cvt stuff is the same as the af18 cvt stuff which should be the same for yours?

Just ordered a few sets of rollers from WeBike, have from either 3.0 or 3.5 up to 6 covered. Also added the stage6 clutch, UPS Kobe lightweight bell and an uprated Daytona centre spring. Now I am really racking my brain over what to do with the intake and variator. I have got the Polini 24mm PWK, jet sets and a Multivar sitting in my Racing-Planet cart, but I am just trying to decide if it's worth doing them now? I've got a cheap Alba over range variator and a dirt cheap Aliexpress 19mm Keihin PB (like a stock Dio carb but 19mm rather than 16mm)on there and seemingly working at the moment. The PWK should be easier to tune at least from a physical viewpoint as it looks like the jets should be changeable without removing the carb from the inlet etc. Looking at the only intake R-P lists: Or spending a bit more for the Stage6 option elsewhere And possibly a kart airbox? Although it probably isn't much better than an open pod? But yeah really after advice on what to do at this point?

You can get a CT manifold on eBay super cheap but you have to sand all the surfaces even and replace the Reeds to make it worth it. If you can use a stock airbox somehow that would work best Imo, and a 19mm carb is probably better than a 24mm in my opinion. Big carbs take lots of fuel.

A lot of people say tune one part at a time. I can't stand tuning over and over again so I'll throw all my new parts on at once. That air box you have is way cool and what you'll find on race karts. I was going to use one myself but thought it might want to fall off if I didn't have a way to support it. Since your motor is rigid to the rear frame, supporting the air box won't be an issue.
Oh, and I still say 19 or 21mm carb with that cylinder and pipe. The Stage6 intake looks like it'd breathe really nice.

How about the Stage6 21mm PWK with power valve? Think there made by Koso. Bit more $$ though! /Should just get it sorted with the 19mm for now. A more pressing issue is that I just got an email from WeBike, the Stage6 clutch I ordered is out of stock and discontinued to boot . So now I'm trying to figure out what to do clutch wise.

It uses the same drive parts as af35/35 etc Dio. The one I'm after is the Stage6 SG6-C-H.
Have found it showing in stock at dynoscooter.com, just waiting to hear back from them about shipping.
Other option I'm looking at now is the Polini 3g for race clutch set.
Edit: that's it under race on scooter tuning, Japan must use a different part number with KN Planning being the Japanese Stage6 agent.
