I looked on the scooter and found that the turn signal and light switch are built into part of the plastic cover for the handle bars. I also looked at a old four wheeler I have, while it has the switch for the lights and the turn signal in the right place the wiring is completely different as it has one plug with five connectors and then a single wire connector.

Ok, so I changed out the fuse, just disconnected the horn and blinker connectors until the new assembly comes in. Everything works fine, except the headlight doesnt turn on...Im hoping since it worked fine before (even after the fuse blew, while the engine was running) that it just isnt working because the blinker and horn wires are disconnected on the other side...Ill let you guys know how the new assembly works when it comes in.

If you disconnected the connectors at the hand control, the headlight isn't working because you no longer have the hi-lo switch wired in.
