So I've had this one for a while but haven't posted it here so I figured nid throw up some pics. Bought like this almost a year ago. Pink super-thick spray paint oven cleaner wouldn't touch, and everything is just sitting on it- nothing is screwed together in this photo, all just quickly stacked together for sale haha. PO had installed a Chinese bbk and a Chinese carb off ebay and couldn't get it running. I found the Piston mounted backwards and the carb was leaking fuel but not supplying it to the motor, and it had a clogged pipe as well. Looks like this now...

What it looked like after I got it running (thanks to my brothers at 2strokeassassins.com, wouldn't have got it running w/o em) and painted it silver. Also trimmed up the fender and put on a tng Venice handlebar and stem on it. Then started running it around everywhere haha. Chinese bbk and an upjet, top speed was like 37 I think (05 gearing).

Bought an 08 to flip, and it had real nice black mica plastics, so I swapped em out with my multi-layer painted silver ones and polished em up real good. Custom made drag bars and derbi gp-1 controls

Still need to weld on my chrome kick stand and finish the rear brake caliper install, and I have 14/42 gears & an overrange going in this month. Also have new bars coming soon. Hopefully she'll do 55-60 with the tpr black and pro-rep.

Nice job Benji. Turned out really nice. What is The ride like with the bigger wheels?

Really good, even with the lowered suspension haha. Bigger wheels take more power to run but they seem necessary at speeds above 40 mph or so, at least to me. I actually dropped this bike last summer, low-sided it in a corner in my neighborhood at like 10mph. That was with the stock soccer-ball shaped wheel n tire combo. The taller wheels seem much more stable.

Well done!
Do you have more info on the rear disc conversion? It might be helpful to others.
How did you mount the caliper? What wheel hub did you exactly use?
Things like that.

I still need to mount the caliper. I have what I think is the rear caliper from an aerox. I'm planning on mounting it to the case and I think it will need only minimal clearancing, but I'm not %100 on that cuz I haven't started it yet. I'll take pics when I pull the rear wheel, the caliper won't fit with the wheel on. There's a write-up on 2sa about the rear disc conversion, i used a cpi gtr-50 rear hub to fit the rotor and wheel.

Just made the cut on the case to clear the caliper. Now I need to make a steel bracket to bolt it on with.

Found a matching front caliper in my parts pile. Also put on new bars and my OR that just came in. I still need new grips and maybe a new cnc quick throttle.
