Tries many locations for the speedo but didn't like it on top. Uses a Autometer cup to hold a Ruck Speedo. Plan to mount turn signal indicator, high beam an temp lights in the cowl. I have some mini Koso turn signals coming in the mail.

Back in 2015, I bought a scoot (2006 tng venice) that had a plate for only its first year of its life. Took me 6 diligent months here in MN to try to find a title for it, then i finally got to register it with a new title. Took me 86 bucks for registration and i had to work out some crazy deal with the insurance company on top of it. To have any title/registration service done here, you need proof of insurance. Insurance companies around here are NOT keen on insuring a vehicle that dont have a title, has some kind of administrative impoundment (i still don't fully understand that term) and a bill of sale for a pile of scrap metal that don't run. I bought a... policy... for 1 month, $100 to just have a proof of insurance for it. Once it got plates and a title, i brought that info back to the insurance company and they applied my $100 to a legit moped policy... that's a headache!

Pulled apart a Met speedo for the LED Temp and High Beam to mount in cowl. Also pulled apart a Vino 50 fuel gauge. Top is a Vino 50 fuel gauge. I cut off the pic but the only diff between the Met and Vino fuel gauge is that the Vino has a additional resistor. I cut the upper one off... BAM! looks like it works. I'll need to drain half the tank down to confirm.
