the engine is the worlds best turbo engine, found in a 90-94 eagle talon, plymouth laser, and mitsubishi eclipse. also known as the DSM (diamond star motors).
Enjoy! :thumb:

No offense, but I'm not really into that. The sound alone ruins it for me. I'd just put a turbo on a V8 if I wanted one.. oh wait, I did. Here's my Mustang. It's on the back burner to scoots and has been for a long time. Got a new computer in it after some issues, I need to work some bugs out and tune it and maybe someday I'll see what it can do when it's running on all 8 cylinders and in tune, unlike the vids.
I never realized the settings on the cam were wrong, so the vid is crappy at best, but you can hear it. Doesn't sound much like a bumblebee. Just a measly little 8psi. When I stop at the end and take off, I'm easing into the throttle so it doesn't get too wild.
BTW, listen to how they talk about just spooling in the vid of the Mitsi... then listen when I hit the gas. What's this spooling thing you speak of?

Enjoy! :barf: Right car, WRONG engine  . No offense tho, thanks for sharing . It really is a nice stang and would be great with a built SVO 2.3ltr or a SBF. Anything but that :censored: :stumped: . I dont know whats worse now? A Chevy in a Ford or and import in a Ford :sos: . Either way its wrong, wrong, wrong, WRONG :zap: BTW, did you notice the LLllaaaaaaaggg in the setup? The guy got pretty good at timing for it tho. (camera and all)

back when diamond star motors made that engine mitis was american, not imported. any ways i didn't know how sweet your stang is 90gtvert. i shared the video because anyone can make a v8 have major power, people are making 1000+ horse power in them little 4 cylinders thats talent!

But can they fly? I'm a muscle car kinda guy. A muscle car is more of an experience to me than the fast little engined cars. They're just raw and nasty. When you get into my car and the engine is shaking the whole car as the cam pumps out an offbeat thump that's loud and deep and kinda evil sounding, that alone is exciting to me. Hit the gas and listen to my little 331ci Ford instantly spool up the turbo and I can't even compare that to the sound the 4s make. The car scares some people without me ever getting into the gas. Ride in a beefy V8 and a similar 4 cylinder and tell me I'm wrong about this. As far as all out drag cars go, I'd still rather watch the V8s. I respect all engines big and small (look what forum I happen to have made) but if I'm talking about cars, a V8 is what makes my pulse race. My car again for another example...

It's OK Mccanic I like 4 strokes but, drive a V8 Cougar. I would love to have any car in the videos posted. An awesome 4 banger or a scary V8 all go fast and can bite you back just the same!!!! Some of those imports have amazing technology but, nothing beats the sound of a V8 rumble. IMO I do love the sound of a turbo on anything!!!! Except maybe a diesel

17 ?? Let me buy ya a beer!!! Seems you have the battle scars of us old fogies (just jokin) I like some of the stuff going on with rally cars. If I ever get another 4 banger it would half to be an Imprezza or lancer. Thats just me though. I like the off road/ rally race stuff. All I need is my scoot, this Cougar(project) and, the Saturn wagon I hate to drive. BTW at 30 something I guess my midlife crisis purchase is coming soon. I wanna few new scoots in the garage Maybe a new GTO!!!!!
